Raptor lights have been one of my favorite mods so far! I've had my raptor lights powered via the INJ fuse for the past 3-4 months and it has held up great with no issues. I like the INJ fuse because there is no automatic emission check so I don't have to worry about the lights randomly coming on and draining my battery lol 👍

No need for a ground wire attached to wall of body? Also, would light snap into a OEM pro grill? Some brand said it’ll only work on after market grill.

As I'm installing mine, I noticed he forgot to mention it. If you look closely it looks like the ground was already attached to a point where the battery's ground is. At 10:58, at the very right end of the shot, you see a bolt with a wire going off from it directly under it. I believe that's where they decided to mount it. R4T does include a ground wire so it's only logical that it needs to go somewhere to ground the lights. I'm gonna try it there and I'll comment again to let you know if I'm right.

After looking at the the harness closely. The DRL factory plug only has 3 wires, the R4T harness appears to have 4 wires. Maybe this is the issue??

We found out half of them have manufacturer issues with one wire so we will be replacing them, please email [e-mail] if they have issues

Had an issue where I try to plug into the top row, as it turns out the connectors for the individual lights that you guys have now are too big to fit into the gaps, I was able to find a solution and I’m using a Dremel to cut notches to allow them to fit on the top row.

I connected to the DRL 10amp fuse with my add a fuse as I really wanted the raptor lights to be on without the headlights but on that fuse my raptor lights would be on without car on. Is this why in the video they went with the ign fuse?

Unfortunately there is not. There is a tab you have to move to one side to slide up. Shine light down there and you'll see the tab

Does it matter what fuse I tap into? I tapped into the lights and the grill lights went on when the car was turned on so I changed it to a different fuse. Will add a fuses mess with your system?

When you need to purchase an add an fuse kit for the raptor lights. is the ( add a fuse ) kit all the same or is there a specific size you need to connect the wiring? are the fuses suppose to lock in place? Which side of the fuse is load (12v power) and which is source (ground) for the add a fuse direction? I don’t have a volt meter :/ also for the inside under steering wheel fuse box? Is this standard for most Toyota’s fuse load and source sides? I have a 2014 Prius gen 2. Thank u!

I believe the left side of the add a fuse is the +12V side. The right side (where the wire is located) is the source side.

I wired my ‘19 TRD Off Road using an “add a fuse” with a 15 amp fuse on top (which came already in it) and a 10 amp fuse on bottom. I plugged the fuse into the Ignition fuse location and have been getting a “maintenance required soon” light. It may be completely unrelated, or nothing at all. Could you share the link for that trd DRL harness?

@@Runnin4Tacos I tried that first. The switch for the fog lights must be on the other side of the fuse/relay. The Raptor lights stayed on all the time not just when fog lights were on. I guess I'll try tapping into a fog light wire and use an in-line fuse for the raptor lights. I only want them on with the fog lights.

You need to make people aware the the add a fuse only works with the headlight fuse on all 2020 push start Taco’s. If you’re ok with the light only turning on with the headlights then good. But if you want them to turn on with the DRL you’ll need to splice into the DRL orange wire. I did. Works perfect. But the add a fuse will not work. I tried it and the fuse box has constant power. Except the headlight fuse. Cheers.
