when they did their first show i thought i had missed tons. I thought they had been together for months. Then i read the info and realised this was their first show. Outside of jim and ant i have never seen two guys so suited to each other and hilarious. I fucking love both of these guys together.

They're a perfect fit. the dynamic sort of reminds me of Artie & Howard. It makes TACs super unique, there's really no other show quite like it anywhere. Anthony and Dave show is sort of bland, they need something better. Maybe the Ant In Dave Show, aka AIDS? (royalty check) Regardless, they really do an underrated entertaining as fuck show.

Karl Freund is the biggest reason I love Lucy was so unique. He designed the "flat lighting" system. This system covers the set in light, thus eliminating shadows and allowing the use of three moving cameras without having to modify the lighting between shots. This guy was cinematographer on Metropolis (1927) probably visually the most stunning silent movie of all time. He is a legend but unknown.

Freund was also a pioneer of the moving camera. He was the cinematographer in the 1931 Dracula with Bela Lugosi and 1948’s Key Largo with Bogart and Bacall. He also directed The Mummy in 1933. His visual style on Universal monster movies is still being utilized on most horror films.

I was aware of the significance on that show of the import of the camera work, but not how it was possible via Freund's lighting. Interesting.

I'm blown away at how Dave has grown on me. I always wondered why the great Anthony Cumia had Dave on his show but my first impressions couldn't have been more wrong. The dude is funny as hell and very quick. That Tracy joke almost killed me! Love both you guys, thanks for the laughs.

@1x0x Yeah, it's natural. He gave me a bad first impression, too. Also, he was too low energy and monotone for me but the more I heard from him the more it only added to his style of comedy.

One o f those was where those twin kids that the mom scamming babysitters by dropping off 1 and sneaking the other in when the other was kicking the poor sitters shin. They end up about to burn her at the stake! Bet Desi came up with Lucy all tied up andd a giant fruit stuffed in her big mouth. As if it was common to do this kinda thing to women back then.Oh hang on that always hap pened on shows til like the 90 s when Daphne from Scooby Doo learned krav magga or Jujitsu to put an end to her hostage career. So brave and progressive .So maybe crazy little twerps were burning hemmed up babysitters at the stake was common.
