Funny I found this comment. I was just thinking about this today. These guys get paid to just sit around and talk like guys. Like in the old O&A days. I would not mind doing that for a living. But then again, I dont have many friends I can still talk to like this. I have a friend who got all weird and shit during the pandemic. And now he's one of those weird effeminate "put my woman up on a pedestal" kind of guy. He cant even have honest objective conversation about being a man and women and dating etc. Shit that you should be able to talk about even if you're in a relationship. But this guy is like a hardcore Beyonce fan because his girl is. And he's constantly posting on social media about how "something is wrong with men if they don't worship their woman". My fucking blood runs cold from the cringe every time he posts something about "family" or "living to make your girl happy" etc.

Stallone was actually nice about how he asked Norm, he didn't act like a primadonna. The case he made was that after Rocky came out, Frank decided to become a boxer and billed himself as The Italian Stallion's Brother. Anyways, Frank took too many punches to the head and it was affecting him mentally, and Sly blamed himself for it. Norm actually felt bad after and respected Sly's wishes.

@@mr.brenman2132 dude….please google Travolta massage. He is gay. He was scared to death it would ruin him as a “leading man” so Scientology set him up with his wife through Kirstie Alley. It was an arrangement. In the meantime he’s never been spotted with any other woman even after his wife died BUT he’s been busted with countless men for decades. Long time “companions”. It’s not a secret in Hollywood. Same with Will Smith. Why do you think he has to act overly aggressive when anyone questionins his wife meanwhile she’s outed him on her show as being a cuck and he can’t say boo about it. Google his name and “gay”. You’ll see his ex wife has had a strict contract gag order where she’s not allowed to speak on ANY terms of their short marriage and she still gets money from will even though they didn’t have kids. She knows the truth. Scientology has the goods on these men but the rumors and dudes speaking out with lie detector tests and all that have been going on for ages.

12:37 Mannix was filmed at Desilu Studios & I guess they were invested in production as well. Lucy suggested the change from Mannix being a computer nerd tied to a HUGE TECH Agency - and the character be the gum shoe type who did his own investigation & the HARD KNOCKS detective that we can thank her for seeing that poor man get CLOCKED the fuk OUT in every episode in the second incarnation of the show. Regardless if she had an ax to grind with Desi perhaps- it sure BEAT the original premise. And yes, the theme song is excellent as we're so many others of the era!! Mike Connors was a gifted athlete in more than one sport, Armenian & from a tough background in real life & had strong moral standards & did his own stunts whenever possible as well. No slouch & no scandals. Something rather rare the among Hollywood lot I'd say.
