Having an issue with my Gen 1 camera. It was working just fine when I took it offline in January. I reactivated both my cameras. The Gen 2 took two days before it showed a good signal. It kept giving me the NO SIGNAL message but now that is working and out in the field. I just did the update on the Gen 1 and I'm still getting the NO SIGNAL message on the screen. I'm in an area with good Verizon cell service so that's not it. Any other tips or ideas? I had it out last night on a food plot. I checked it this morning. It did take pics/videos, but sent nothing.

Hey I have both the reveal 2.0 and x pro set up on the same plan. They both monitor my property. One for animals one for security. My 2.0 been sending me pictures but once I relocated my x pro and swapped the sd card out and put in the new 32 (10) (3) it doesn’t seem to be sending me anything. I have it set to send me check in pics but hasn’t sent any. It said something about taking 24hrs for settings (as I reset all settings with new card in) maybe that’s why. It’s just been over the 24hr mark as I type this. I was wondering if I had to do something with the sd card when I put it in the camera? Any advice? Thanks

Does the camera have to be activated to do the update. Mine is on suspend and wanted to do the update before I bring it back to the woods,

You do not have to have the camera activated in order to do the update. So you’re good the way you are

I have gen 1. Maybe others work better. Heard someone say eay gen ones will not work. But hey this guy says hay look how easy it is and he is already getting buck picks.

All mine does when I move the file is make it a black square with green letting. Been on hold 45 minutes and no where online does it answer the question. Frustrated with Tactacam, shouldn’t be forced to do updates.

Wayyyyy too complicated update process for me with lots of places where it can go sideways and cause you hours of annoyance when you just want to hunt. Had I seen this video before buying my Reveal, I’d not have bought it. Much simpler process on my Spypoint. I love my Reveal camera but your tech side is too much. Do you know any farmers, loggers, hunting guides, or truck drivers etc? Do you think this is at their technology level? I’m a doctor and this too much. When my Reveal gives me trouble I’ll give it to a man bun wearing millennial to monitor his grow and I’ll buy another SPYPOINT. Look what your competitors do. Make this simpler, or lose your market.

It’s totally bullshit you have to do this! I have six of these and I have to the first generation and I am having trouble with them! They should update Automatically!
