Matt, in the old rules I would use Azrael guard ball, 50 some Guardsmen all in Azrael Squad, Fearless, 4 + invulnerable, with furious charge and all of the sergeants having power axes. The worst that I ever did in tournament play was tied.

In the book "Azrael" by gav thorpe, which is short and really bad. Azrael and Belial + members of the Deathwing went to find Naberius during the Rhamiel rebellion started by the Nightlords, they would deep strike inside the gates of one of the citadel fortresses after discovering the vital signs of Naberius still active after his Thunderhawk was shot down just outside the gates. The former Supreme Grandmaster eventually found deep inside, suspended by techno heresy, and discovered practically dead during a moment where Azrael and his eyes locked for a brief second during the heat of battle. It was then that Azrael gave the command to the Master of the Rock to overcharge Naberius's terminator suit, destroying him and the hereteks supporting the ruse. They would not encounter the demon prince "The Painted Count" until after his election & trials by the Watchers, this all took place while the battle of Rhamiel continued. Admittedly, we finally come to the best part of the book when the filthy traitors of Rhamiel would meet the entire Dark Angels chapter in open battle. Including 3 heretek knights, a massive spearhead, and thousand of cultists. After all, holding up in a fortress against the munitions of The Rock would be a death sentence anyway... Still, it seemed to good to be true that the traitors would willing throw their lives at the DA battle lines...and it was. Portals had suddenly ripped open with warp like attributes across the battle line while the traitor spearhead & knights began to make their advance, with thousands of hereteks clambering their way as quickly as possible behind the cover of the machines. The Nightlords began to pour through the rifts, including a Hell Drake. Azrael would slay the technobeast with the assistance of Ezkiel, but would be carried a fair distance away from the main battleline in doing so. Suddenly another rift opened up, almost consuming his mind with visages of insanity from the warp. The Painted Count revealed with a warp beast most foul. Just when Azrael was almost to be slain by the demon prince, gold rift portals this time, opened up over the battlefield. One directly behind The Painted Count, and a gold sword thrusted into his back, temporarily sent the demon prince back to the warp by an Eldar Farseer, known as The Walker of Grey Paths. Its at this point that the book goes back to being trash. Fuck gav thorpe for ruining Azrael...But thats the canon for him becoming the Supreme Grand Master, which is dumb because he acts like he has no idea what the webway is in this book, but as you stated, he clearly experienced the webway as damn scout, which means he either has terrible memory, or someone fucked up pretty bad...going with the latter. Also, Ezkiel needs a book all of his own, preferably not written by gay thorpe The trials of the watchers had nothing to do with Luther Fyi...

The Primaris and the inner circle is the part that seems the least likely to cause problems to me the primaris marines just have to be inducted into the truth of the Dark Angles the a little quicker then the first gen marines are some stories may need to be curtailed or combined but yeah I don't think it would be that hard. Just feel's like GW is creation drama for drama's sake.

Wow, you completely skipped Pandorax and The Trials of Azrael, both were basically a focus on Azrael. You should consider whether or not to augment this video, you are missing a lot, too include some aspects of the Lion Helm, a LOT of aspects to Azrael's person, just how many "secrets" Azrael holds, and how he deals with other Imperial elements. On second thought, your normal thorough review is well better than this considering the size of the omission. You really NEED to redo this video. Also in War of Secrets, it was due to Cawl's furnace spiking the primaris that they were not under for the mind wipe process so it didn't take.

I'm aware of both those, I just couldn't find most of the information! Pandorax, my mistake, I did miss that one because I forgot it existed during the research. As for the Trials, I just did a second check to find information since I don't happen to own it and I can't find anything. Is it good enough? No, especially in the case of Pandorax since that is a mistake, but it's what we have, and without all the facts from the Trials I wouldn't feel comfortable with an official addendum since it would still be lacking.

Tactica Imperialis I really respect and appreciate your dedication to accuracy and how you handle constructive criticism. I watched one video on the history/creation by another KZbinr where he said "the emporor created the techno barbarians" among others clear errors. when I pointed it out, granted a little harshly and on multiple comment threads, he left 3 extremely defensive comments on my main comment. Sorry for the ramble but thanks for the content, it's given me many hours of joy.

Great call! The only reason that many of us tell Tactica Imperialis is because we have confidence that he will do his best to be accurate, unlike a lot of others. The couple issues with this video are far and away the exceptions. Tactica Imperialis is, in my opinion, the best resource channel for understanding 40k lore, especially for newcomers. I would like to give an enormous nod however to 40k Theories also, you guys collaborate anyway.
