Great rundown! That’s a lot of work to get things set up for a show. Thank you for mentioning that you don’t need forward facing sonar to for these. One thing the tackle industry is clueless to is that 97% of anglers don’t have sonar and in five years 95% still won’t have it. So they need focus heavy advertising on a small group of anglers. Great watch. I love geeking over new baits this time every year. Here's a freebie for a tackle company out there... I don't have an idea flshed out but what about a bait made out of a sponge material? Could add the rubber strands to act as appendages, and you'd be able to soak the sponge bait in bait fuel or your scent of choice.

Learn to build Rods people! Its so much easier today.there really is no excuse. You can ever have Chat GPT do the guide measurements for you. "Just do it!" By a spinning rod kit but switch out the real seat and guides from spinning to baitcasting. You might need to add an extra guid or two for baitcasting.

the very first Bait Finesse style reel i remember Tacklewarehouse used to carry was way back in 2009-2012; the Daiwa Pixy. the price for that style of reel back then is way too expensive ($300+) and overpriced for the average anglers. for most the US fishing mainstream wasn't ready nor understand that style of reel

I’m from another part of the world and always thought the US fishes waaay too heavy, now everyone over your way is discovering “BFS” (still not true BFS but much lighter) and having soooo much fun.
