Doug Marcaida is not only a great teacher, but he, also, has a great sense of humor which keeps things fun. I liked how he using technical Kali techniques at the end and suddenly started to dance with his training partner. Haha

Kali is evolving in different directions, and that's a good thing. It's not just Filipino now; the world has embraced it.

Masterful display of skill. Flowing like a river , man.

This is awesome. It took me more then half the video to see that Doug was using a (modified/weapon based) interlocking limb technique. The fact that he can do them so smoothly and still spare time for pressure point activation is nothing short of increasable.

I loved the "duck of death hand" :D and the waltz also, very creative! Amazing as always, Guro, thanks for sharing!

Wow. Easily one of the best lock flows I have seen in a long time, if ever. There were a couple of hand transfers and wraps that I have never seen! Selamat, Guro Doug. That's beautiful!

I should say: the video/techniques had great flow, and some of the locks I haven't seen before... not that this represents a "lock flow". Semantics. Great video!!

Now that is quick reply!

Not exactly, all my teachers only come from the silat. But we are open-minded and we go to others seminars (bjj, kali, krav maga...) or we ask some teachers from the outside to come at our school...

Hi Metaillian187, would you please be so kind to tell when and where he would come to Belgium? Would this be a seminar that I could attend? I'm also from Belgium and would really like to train with this guy. Thx!

from what ive seen in many other videos, im pretty sure anthony is very skilled too. otherwise i think those moves would hurt him a lot at those speeds, if he didnt know them and know how to move so he doesnt get hurt really really bad. :) anyway, very entertaining and im considering picking up kali/arnis but im not sure if 40 isnt too old to start from scratch.

In what situation is legal to deploy a baton? law enforcement or civilian.
@gyffesme7 жыл бұрын
Check your local laws. I'm in an open carry state with no knife limits... but expandable batons are illegal. As my friend with a concealed carry permit complains, "I can put .357 holes in people, but I can't dent their knees?" Check your local laws. Always.
