"too sharp" For those that have never handled these I can't stress this enough...it's just between a razor and a piece of paper. This shit will cut your hands all the time. It does not want to coil back in. My brother got it for me after Dreamcatcher did the video with Dami and the magic trick coreo.

Not sure if you guys have already reviewed it (or if they're even legal where you are) but the Stinger Tactical Whip would be an interesting review.

Yes, it's said to have a good review and can give you strong sting with every hit without causing internal injury.

I had a few of these and I think it may have one non-magic application. It's great for staff flow drills. You can throw it in a bag and bring it wherever, and it's not an actual weapon, so much less scary for folks unfamiliar with martial arts. Excellent video by the way, might prevent some one from buying the product to protect themselves.

Honestly if you try to defend yourself with one of these ? If you came at me like a madman I would die laughing 🤣😂 . An ice cream is better for defense than this 🤣😂. Just please don't waste your money on one. A curved handle walking stick is not considered a weapon. A hollow plastic stick for sweeping 🧹 is hard to see as dangerous. Just unscrew the brush part when practicing. Look for Chen short staff to give you an idea or bōjutsu. After 47 years of martial arts. The best weapon is without doubt "your mind" . Learn to avoid danger, second is "the empty hand ✋". Every weapon must be used with method !. If you control your enemies hands or his weapon. His weapon becomes yours and his quickest way to be defeated by "the empty hand ✋". ☯️🙏

I mean, just from looking at it I knew that any claims it could be used for self defense would be 100% based on intimidation. It's coiled spring sheet. It is held rigid solely by tension. Thank you so much for doing this practical demonstration, I will be sharing this video around all sorts of places.

Biggest dangers ; 1- The bandit dies laughing 😂🤣, 2- You cut your own wrist swinging this rubbish around or putting this scrap metal back into a pole. 3- You blind yourself wondering how to open it . (Hold firmly and press the ball tip down with your thumb) I would argue it's not even worth having for practice drills. Use a walking stick, umbrella (unbreakable umbrella already reviewed as useful here 👍 ) or a hand fan. Hard to be scared by a hand fan and You must have guts or skills to carry ,show , use a hand fan /tessen/war fan. These are not worth the postage ( yes I had one ) Glad to see it reviewed as not useful for defense. Trust in the video 📸 and trust me 🙏 Buy an ice cream instead , it's more useful 👅

I saw the ad for these and am no surprised that this is what they are like. BUT! I thought it is perfect for a cosplay build of a telescoping sword or light sabre.

I bought one of these, and the first time I tested it on my leg it just snapped and I had to bend it back and wrap it around itself. Cut myself a couple times doing that, so it might be better to break it and use it as metal whip

I would li9ke to know, at wath distance a Katana/knife beats a gun. I learned its everything below 4 meters, if the gunman dose not know much and the weapon is in the holster.

I would like to see what self-defense weapons are legal to carry in Korea, and if the cities have different laws than the countryside. I think the best tool for self defense is a small bright flashlight: non-lethal, legal everywhere, easy to carry, and useful simply as a tool.
