I was ironically discussing this with some other officers a few days ago. Did you find any instances of officers giving their extra magazines to other officers who ran out of ammo?

No.I started in 1978 in police work and in 30 years there's never been a case where ammo was tossed to another. That whole idea was probably formed in WW2 combat, but never in police work..

It always takes a bad FUBAR for LE management to wake up and fix existing problems. 1. California HP with 4 officers killed 2. Miami FBI FUBAR 3. OJ Simpson case showed how forensics training actually is VERY important. 4. North Hollywood 5. Columbine High School Same thing happens in the aircraft realm.
