Freaking freak Weston. A really unique player. Put him anywhere on the field and not only can he hold his own- he excels. Dude put out fires all over defensively while being a threat in the final 3rd.

Bosz indeed said Pepi deserved minutes but couldn't sub him in due to cramps. The cramps weren't Pepi's though. During the 2nd half a lot of PSV players were gassed and cramping up, causing Bosz to have to use his substitutions differently, in addition to also having to give Chucky Lozano a sub appearance for it being his last game at the club before departing for San Diego
@ccheat7966Күн бұрын
Hi Tac. A few observations on the Dortmund game. Dortmund played a man down and perhaps that changed Sahin's sub pattern. His first move taking an offensive player off for a defensive one after the red card. Then Sahin could not get Reyna into the game as there was not an ideal stop in the game. So that went on for about 5 minutes. The match went to the 94th minute and Reyna and Adeyemi eventually got in at the 87th minute. It was a tense game near the end there playing with 10, and I took it as a good sign that Reyna went in. He was focused on the sidelines waiting to get in and happy after the game. But really - nothing surprising here. Dortmund and Reyna met during the summer and the deal was he would get playing time - either coming off the bench or starting. He is fine where he is at, and the situation will be re-evaluated during the summer. The potential moves for Reyna you mentioned in your prior video are all not ideal (IMO). He is in a better place than he was a year ago when he went to Nottingham in January. The big difference being - Sahin values him, and the Nottingham coach did not.

I watched Tessman in the French cup game. I'd say he played well, but he still didn't seem completely integrated with his teammates somehow, in my opinion. I get the idea his teammates don't trust him, yet. He also didn't often look to make progressive passes. One thing of note: I wouldn't say Lyon operated by intricate passing. They often pushed the ball to a player who attempted to beat his man one on one or they would hoist the ball upfield to a player to take it down in a tight space and get past his man. It's very different from the Italian style and I don't think Tessmann is comfortable with it yet. Tessmann didn't really operate in this part of the game. Firstly he often didn't receive the ball, but when he did he was usually in an open space where he cycled the ball to someone else who pushed it into the tight spaces. When he was pressed he responded well as he tends to, it just didn't feel to me like he was initiating the offense much. If you compare him to the other Lyon midfielders, they were initiating duels with opposing players and while they had lower passing accuracy, they were making passes into tight areas. Defensively Tessmann was sound.

Gio vs Tillman who do you feel has a higher ceiling? Gio’s performances for USMNT show he’s definitely our number 1 but for club Tillman is next level. Who’s actually better regardless of what jersey they wear?
@stephencoons7879Күн бұрын
Wes is unique. I've reached the place where I don't even care what position he plays. I don't even care if he is considered a super Sub, because in his case that means Not that he's the guy you bring in in the last 15-20 minutes to try to score a goal, he's the guy that you start when someone's injured or suspended...in any position. Since among 10 field players, One of them is almost always absent, he will start almost every game.

The player pool individually are playing at such a high level it’s really great to see! Now I just want to see these same players together as a unit look good & perform well against better opponents. And yes I know that’s hard because of CONCACAF as a whole is not so good but when we have friendlies against Japan & others in the coming future it would be nice to get a win to show improvement to the masses & fans who aren’t die hard USMNT fans so hype can build and the whole country can get behind this team for WC2026🇺🇸

Is there anything McKennie cannot do? If Juventus put him in goal I WILL buy the GK jersey! Crystal Palace: the entire defense was so disorganized I don't think Chris Richards should shoulder the blame, plenty to go around. Reyna: he has two starts, a goal, some good minutes, clever passing and then gets what, 3 minutes?? not good for him. Pepi WILL replace De Jong eventually as a starter, probably some politics there, but as a coach, how do you leave your leading scorer on the bench so often?
@IsaacHenryinAKКүн бұрын
I agree about Chris. Just because he was the closest to the ball doesn't make him responsible for it. He could have done better, but Arsenal just set a huge record for scoring at least 5 goals on the road in a row, like 6 or 7 games - it's ridiculous. Their away form is on fire.

@IsaacHenryinAKКүн бұрын
Robinson is getting consistent playing time and thriving against some of the best teams in the world right where he is. The only good reason for him to leave is to get UCL experience and primarily, to make more money. Leaving carries risk and doesn't have much upside. He's already playing weekly in the Prem. He has nothing to prove to us.
