The comparisons to the older generation of players makes no sense to me. Players now have way stronger aim assists, playing on way higher frames and resolution. They have way more resources to improve their gameplay. Can't compare unless the older guys played on the same shit in their prime. And you have to win way less matches to get to a finals now.

Aim assist was basically non existent to what it is today. Not to mention most of the players today have been playing boots on the ground with no drastic change in movement. I would personally argue that OG's had more skill, because the skill ceiling was allowed to be higher. (Look at ghost with shotguns, imagine the outrage that would occure if shotguns were allowed). Now days with all the GA's theres barely any notable skill difference between players with the exception of a couple. Pro's have essentially been playing the same game for the past four years.

What scrap is saying is true. it's not even comparable. Go put Pacman in a game against the pros now and hed struggle to get 1-3 kills total per map. These new pros would obliterate all the ogs. skill ceiling is 100x greater. scump was able to keep up barely. crim was the only one who retired on his own, and wasn't retired by the pros. this is why crim truly is the best of all time. scump had to retire cause he was costing his team over time, which is sad to see. he should've retired 2 years prior to when he did. also you can't do a dynasty v new pros on old cods, unless you let the new pros play as long as the OG players did on the game. of course they are gonna lose when they don;'t know the maps, spawns, rotations etc of black ops 2.

You could take any top player from any era and they'd still be a top player in another era. It's age and getting bored of playing for so many years that takes its toll. This isn't a professional sport where training methods have improved. Also anyone saying they were playing plumbers, hasn't ever taken up a trade to learn, your ass is too knackered to be playing competitive games every night until the early hours. Foolish talk. Considering the league ends up top heavy, the skill level is clearly not any better. Most likely losing talent due to the league and lack of investment in the amateur scene. Nadeshot was never that bad, he just never needed to be great, when you can entertain, make people laugh and put eyes on the pro scene, you've done more than enough to earn some respect.

I think during that optic scrim thing w the dynasty vs current team we got an idea of the actual truth. Of course in a game where they actually play that team would win, which the dynasty dominated. Now take that team from Aw/BO3/IW, put them same age as they were then but in bo6 I think the dynasty would still be dominant. Scump still shows signs all these years later & even retired being cracked. These games got at least 3x aim assist, Lmao. Good players would be good in any era, I do believe that. Don’t think the dynasty would be the most dominant team now but they’d be in that top 3 conversations easy. I think a big reason they wouldn’t be as good is because this new aim assist even makes the losers from wz compete in aim lol
