Thanks again for a great breakdown of this ships history and performance. She definitely feels very comfortable to play due to that speed and steering. And the guns can be interesting, as you said better accuracy at medium/longer ranges it would appear.

She handles like a dream and her guns definitely punch above their tier as I’ve bodied a couple Tier V BBs that thought I’d be easy prey. Her armor is a tad squishy at certain angles to me.

Love this ship. It does not mind being in tier 5 matches. Which is a good thing cause it gets put in T5 most of the time.

Yep, you can definitely take some "oof"s through the front of the ship. I was not at all surprised when I looked at the armor model that she has a very thin upper belt on below the forward turrets. More like... "makes sense."

I typically don’t buy a premium without first watching your review in particular, but this one is an exception. Picked her up Friday after seeing some gameplay and I’ll go on and say thats it’s by far my favorite tier 4 BB, and I do have the Nickoli, which is a fantastic ship in her own right. Comfortable is absolutely the best word to describe how this ship feels to me, but that’s because I’m a huge fan of the fast and maneuverable BBs like the Scharnhorst and Odin. Great review as always my friend, really looking forward to your review on the Transformer content... lmao! Just kidding 🤣😂😅

Great video once again. Really tempted to purchase this ship but I don't feel like investing any PO's or Insignia into the Commander option right now. Already enjoy the Texas and Nikolai in T4 as well. Maybe down the road I'll get it since it isn't very expensive. Thanks for the info and I look forward to your Transformers commander reviews...😂.

Looks like a supercharged battleship in the fun tier that is also maneuverable. Got some nice styling as well on it. Could see myself picking this up as it's also significantly cheaper than tier 5 and above ships.

I totally agree! She might be my favorite Tier IV battleship to play, even if the Imperator Nikolai wins on power and the Texas Alpha wins on rarity, sometimes.

TacticAngel, I’ve gotta say this is one of my favorite premiums period. Regularly drop 100K damage in tier IV matches, and I’ve dev striked multiple battleships. For you brawler commander, I used artisans touch, as it just wipes the floor with BBs even if its a bit less effective against Cruisers. Have you played with that skill active?

Honestly, I didn't give it a shot on the Giulio, so you might know better than me. I didn't have good luck for it on a Roma, and I didn't want to give up my ability to citadel ships like the Omaha, Danae, or Königsberg for additional pen for battleships. How has it been working for you?

tacticangel really well, I’ve found HE to be effective on cruisers, but the payoff to obliterate BBs is really nice IMO

Does she have a tendency to overpen broadside cruisers? Against cruisers that are notoriously hard to citadel (Emile and Duguay), she definitely still overpens those. Provided your guns put the shells where you aim them, she definitely can citadel a cruiser more-or-less like you would expect. How well does she withstand AP when angled properly? Very, very well when angled away, but she does have that front-side vulnerability that can make going up against battleships head-on kind of dangerous.

her anti torpedo armor makes torpedo damage much less it can also take on more torpedo than the izmail it also has very fast muzzle velocity so you can pretty much punch in to a battleship also very thick armor the speed is very good for a heavy ship

Well, with ships like the Giulio, you need to buy them with Doubloons which you can purchase from the PS Store or MS Store.

I was in corfu and seen some of the devastation this ship did to the beaches. Super cool. Greece is awesome. Super cheap like mexico and the people love tourists and are all super nice!!

I was just in Greece before covid happened, would of been cool to see this. I went to Athens, Mykonos, the Santorini islands, then finished in Rhodes, which was really cool to see as it was a military island. It is a walled city, which was cool to see because of how old they were.

It's a great anti cruiser bb I feel the ap just eats tier 4s and 5s just yesterday I had a 100k game just cuz I hit every cruiser with a cit and just punished the slightest mistakes

You do have to be careful about some of those bigger-gunned battleships, though I think she can hold together if you are appropriately angled away from them.
