The material is worth it. I got the zirconium side click and it's my all time favorite. I prefer not to even tell people how much it cost because I just get made fun of.

Really love the looks of this! I think you showed it in a previous video, so I'm glad to see your actual review now!! I don't need a $100 pen, but if I did, this looks like a fantastic option. I really like the side release, haven't seen one of those since I was a kid, I think. Early 2000s.

Yeah, this reminds me of my Fisher Space Pen, but I prefer the action on that. And yes, good call. This was in my "pens I'm writing with" video a month ago

I’m so happy to see this review from you. I own a few of their pens and enjoy them. I do not much care for the click of this pen. It isn’t satisfying to me as the f701 from Zebra. If you want to review a TiScribe Bolt, please let me know and I can send you one for review. I think you’ll enjoy it. It is superb in my opinion. ☺️

Cool machined pen with the texture. Good for people who work in factories or so. 😊

To me the tactile turn side click is currently the perfect space pen… The AG7 and CH4 are just too slippery for my taste, yet I like side click pens that are able to take G2 refills…
@turnbasedtoddy76649 ай бұрын
They are way too thick but I’m really glad they came out with a slim version. I sold my OG one and got the slim and it’s the perfect size.

Great review! I agree, the texture of the milling is the best part of the pen, hands down. It's a pleasure to hold. My mechanism on my Side Click Standard is a little clunky too. I am willing to chalk that up to a titanium on titanium interaction called "galling." Many titanium knives design metal on metal interfaces with steel instead of titanium to prevent this.
@unsharpen3 жыл бұрын
Good call on the "galling" -- makes total sense though I'm just learning the term now (thank you). This would is the same reason why you'd see brass used in a bearing, because it galling resistant.
@KristopherCost3 жыл бұрын
@@unsharpen Aye, brass is great for that. If you haven't seen it, Tactile Turn has an explanation / breakdown of the side-click mechanism: kzbin.info/www/bejne/haO7eYt3YrSZa6c -- it turns out it's really simple.

I was waiting for you to upload this since you said you would in your last ep of “what i’ve been writing with” i like it. But i just bought The Lamy Aion Ballpoint pen a few weeks back after watching your review of course. After some time maybe. But i am a little more inclined towards Ti Arto Edc since that one can take any refill. I am confused. Great video again. Good work as always. Thank you. 👍🏻🙌🏼

If you really fancy a Titanium pen, you can check out the Bastion bolt action in solid Titanium, takes Parker G2 style refills and "only" $60! 👌😊💵

Hello. How good is the grip with those little grooves? Which one would you recommend more for someone with sweaty hands? This or the pilot s20?

Probably this. The grooves are grippy where I could see the s20 wooden grip getting slick

As much as I love pens, I just cannot force myself to spend that much money on one. Nice looking pen. I've noticed that most modern pens have gotten thicker barrels. I prefer thinner.
@unsharpen3 жыл бұрын
That's a completely fair position to take. There are so many good pens for less. But this is machined out of a pretty big chunk of pretty expensive titanium and all that, so at least I know there the money is going!
@herbcraven71463 жыл бұрын
I'd agree. Considering how nice the Parker Jotter looks for about 15% of the cost, and that it takes the same refills, it's hard for me to want to spend the extra money on a boutique writing instrument. Beautifully machined and quite stylish, though. A+ for craftsmanship and design.

Beautiful pen. Personally, I bought a different solid titanium fountain pen (TiiLiner) for what I for me was a premium price ($70). My considered opinion is that titanium is not worth it. I think I'd rather have stainless steel. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for sharing! TiLiner has that blunt front end that I just don't like the looks of.

The last three "metal" G750s all have broken, surprisingly quickly, in the clicking part. This thing is bulletproof. Titanium is the way to go. I also bought their bronze pen thinking i wanted the extra weight but the titanium is heavy enough and the bronze REEKS of pennies.
