It'll cost around 300 quid more in the UK than any other country. We get ripped off here. Tax/Brexit/insert other reason. I'd be interested if it does Road patterns and simulated descent. I can't stomach paying £1100 for a Neo - especially since it was £850 only a few months ago. Hopefully the Elite Drivo will help create some competition and drive prices down a little.

Well, you posted 3 years ago so pardon my lateness here, but I grew up in the UK and always felt it deserved its 'rip-off Britain' title. Since then I have left, and lived in 8 other countries only *one* of which (Egypt) was cheaper in real terms than the UK when it comes to anything that is not real estate. You get ripped off buying a house, for sure. I haven't looked into this particular product but I would be willing to stick my neck out and say that no way, NO WAY will this be more expensive in the UK than it will in Kazakhstan. The UK is actually quite cheap, by comparison, to many other places. Yes, things are still overpriced, I don't dispute that.

Put it this way, a Kindle in the UK is about 90 quid, same item in KZ is $190. Same item. And I was looking at snow shoes, proper snow shoes rather than walking boots, Amazon UK has them at 130 quid, the only seller in Almaty has imported a few pairs speculatively and is asking $290 for a sale. You don't even have any snow in England, here we have 5 months a year with metres of the stuff and I don't get why there isn't really any demand for them.

What would that have to do with it anyway? 5 hours or not, people need to consider whether this trainer will annoy the neighbours or they will end up not being able to use it for 5 minutes.

Outrageous: From Oct. 2018 *€9,99/month* subscription fee for GPS functionality! Love my Tacx Smarttrainer, which I bought for training race routes just a few months ago. Now I'm supposed to pay €100/year to be able to do that??? No way that is going to happen. If Tacx wants to move from hardware into software and take on Zwift, they should find an investor or do a kickstarter... or they could try and get their existing paid-up customers to pay a pile of money more for the functionality they already have. Yeah, the last one sounds good, let's do that.

The only problem is when it breaks, you get completely left for dead and without a trainer as they mess around working out what to do
