I use to jam next door to Tad in the early 2000's when he was fronting Hog Molly. One of the coolest, funniest and most sincere people I know. It sounded like a freight train coming through our wall when they jammed. The guy was a freakin' riot. Good to see some new material from him. Rock on, Tad.

Members of the Tad were lumberjacks (that's why they wore flannel shirts as a symbol of later "Grunge fashion")...You can hear the "chainsaw" in their musical style, which is also close to the whole sludge metal, stoner rock; a mixture between sludge metal, stoner rock, Nirvana was also heavily influenced by TAD, especially in their songs Paper Cuts and Sifting and few other songs but they later went with the punk rock, pseudo stoner rock + pop style in Nevermind and later back into the experimental alternative spheres with their In Utero...The simplicity of the chords and heavy, emotional, melodic singing was a dot above I, that's why Nirvana have had wider audience...and of course the image of Kurt as a young, handsome guy attracted the Mainstream youth into his music...
