@migtav007 But it's for pedagogical reasons: it's a demonstration, where members of other dojos can see how this teacher does his techniques. If he has a brawl (/randori) then it'll be harder to discern which attack/technique is happening. I think plodding but clear is ok here. ( If people watched a boxer teaching someone how to punch with good form, it wouldn't look like a real fight either.)

even been a demo i believe that should be more dinamic then this. I love Aikido but i think sometimes the masters are the ones that makes bad publicity of the art. Nobody attacks nobody give the hand so easily.... I think that Steven Seagal still the only one that showed how Aikido can be effective!!!
