👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 The world needs more human beings like you. Others would've claimed their repair fixed the problem and kept that worn wire to themselves regardless if the unit was under warranty or not. People like you are rare and need more recognition. Plus it is awesome you are already teaching your boy life skills and a positive work ethic at this stage in his life. Great job all around 👊💪

Teddy you’re a best of the best, honest, good father, best technician! I also had a similar one, but in my case the compressor turned off when I’m there. I connected the miter to the power line when the compressor is running. Ohhh long story short 😂: power not was stable before and after disconnect box. It turned out that the connection in splice box was bad! And in your case, the compressor turned off when you're leaving the customer house, it’s very hard to find!!! You are a very capable guy, your analytical mind is very developed! Thanks to your parents🙏

One more thing, I love how you make it look so easy to do Almost everyone I know joins this field thinking that it is an easy field as selling t-stats, Caps, Contactors, or Sercice Agreements But reality hits hard this field is hard work,if you are not shy about hard physical work coupled with the science, honesty and passion, this becomes powerful. Keep up the good work my friend.

Brother, with all honesty this particular video had me emotional for some reason, maybe it is watching through the video on the amount of work put in, maybe it is because of the small shorted wire, but maybe it is because I see how hard you are working for the family and how much you have put in to bringing your son to where you are at now and I hope and pray that he follows your footsteps and carries on the business name and quality just as you would want him to. Man you are ever so wright. We all make mistakes once in a while. I know that I have because we are human. But we can all learn from ours or someone else mistakes. I always found that Honesty is still the best Policy! People will remember that and always call you back for future work. I bought a N2 that I use for automotive and other electrical work. It has 2 channels & you can record Amps & or Volts. It also has a wave form. You can connect it to a Android Tablet or phone and it will record. Very handy to find spikes in Amps or volts I Like your videos! I am not a HVAC tech by trade but I have fixed a few my self. I am just always trying to learn

I hope you see this and utilize this information for what is meant for its not to harm but to help. When you talk to your son, it sounds as if you don’t have much patience and it’s belittling to him to talk that way. Please take your time please be more than patient with him. He’s just a child and everything he learns coming from you. There’s a way to teach him right and there’s a way to beat him down in the process. For your sake, and his both, please remember he’s a child and treat him the way that you would want to be treated with kindness and loving us and patience. Thanks for the video on replacing the board when it shouldn’t of been lotta good lessons learned here today.

23:55 Do the BLK/WHT/GRN wires travel all the way to indoor unit without protection of a conduit or jacket? What could be done on future installs to reduce chances of a wire insulation being cut by contact with a sharp edge and vibration? Maybe protect wire set with conduit or some jacket; pay attention to routing and tie-wrap in place to reduce rubbing.

you can add refrigerant by weight even through suction port when the compressor is off. add the manufacturer specified weight of refrigerant, wait for some time for the system to reach vapor-liquid equilibrium state inside the sealed system. switch on the compressor. absolutely no problem of slugging with this method

@@lordjaashin Thank you for the info. I replaced the compressor and pressured tested at 350 psi overnight and no leaks. I am able to pull a vacuum to 350 . took a while and 2 oil changes but the system had been open for awhile . The issue now is the service core tool and the adapters are leaking no matter how tight I attach when I shut the pump off the micron start to slowing climb. never really stabilizes. Highly double a have a leak. I going to order 2 vacuum rated service tools so I can isolate the gauge when I start adding refrigerant. The vacuum is a critical part and don't want to rush and kill the compressor from moisture
