The whole training/nutrition aspect of cycling and sports in general have really peaked in the last 20 or so years. Without any hard evidence its just your biased opnion

@@Thomas-vc6mg no worries man, but listen I’m not saying the nutrition and bikes are absolutely top tier now, nor am I saying that it’s just drugs, these guys work extremely hard and put in work. When you start getting better at cycling yourself you realise that holding 450w for 5 mins is tough, these guys do it after countless tdf stages for 15 minutes at 65kg. There’s a reason pog doesn’t publish his power numbers and that’s because they know he’s gonna get some heat when you see what numbers he’s pulling at end of races. Edit: I respect it, but let’s just let them be public about it and make it normal.

These are the worst highlights. Didn't show and structure of the race or key moments. Showed the winner straight away. Honestly, you could do a lot better Eurosport.

Didn't understand Van Aert his tactics today. Against Pogacar climbing ability and VdP explosiveness he is always going to have a tough time in Flanders (given the many small climbs). Even more so this year when he clearly came in as least of the big favourites on current form. Yet instead of riding conservative, he seemed intent of wasting his energy. When Pogacar went the first time around on the Kwaremont. He should have sat on Laporte wheel and let him set the pace. Maybe follow VdP if he went after Pogacar. Instead he went after Pogacar like a raging bull whilst it was VdP who hopped from wheel to wheel, eating others their plate. At that moment Pogacar was 55km away from the finish. Van Aert should have let Pogacar swim solo and waste his powers and/or sat in VdP wheel and let him waste energy on the chase as well. Instead he destroyed his legs, brought VdP to Pogacar and rode along with the other 2 to chase down the first group that had went up the road earlier... . I can only assume he overestimated himself and/or underestimated his rivals. Despite being given a clear warning in both san remo and E3... . very weird.

Besides Pogacar on Quaremont, MVDP was the one who leave out Wout on his acceleration. And he was major part of Tour de Flandres, as always when he does. Tadej was just that fantastic. MVDP was dominant too.

Either they are all clean, or they are all doped (which is unlikely). Cheaters like Lopez do get caught and guys like Pogi really dont seem to be that type of people, but you never know
