There are 2 types of Terran, your average ladder Terran and then you have legends like Bomber, Innovation, Polt, and Masa who are solid at both macro, micro, and split second decision making. Able to use Terran to the maximum.

A terrible engagement with a weak army comp does not make libs OP. It was the Marauders that were shelling out most the damage against the stalkers. Zest had no answer for them and he was being indecisive. Marine Marauder Medivac Liberator (and SCV) is simply a better comp than stalker adept sentry immortal. No AoE, not enough anti air.

This was not by the skill of Taeja though... Zest had him dead to rights - then gave him the game. This was on Zest, and his stupid decision making. The only thing this proves about Taeja is he knows how to beat a player who made some serious errors and some WTF mistakes. It doesn't remotely show he 'is one of the best players still'. Perhaps his other things have; but not this game.

Zest always plays heavy gateway against terran, and it almost always works for him. His PvT statistics are absolutely insane this year. He lost because his army was out on the map when Taeja dropped him. The absolutely terrible engagement under the liberators didn't help either.

This is what I don't understand. Zest comes out top on a massive engagement, he has the better economy by far, and the Terran committed on a two base death push BUT Terran just forces a base trade and automatically evens out the playing field if not flat out taken the lead? Why is it even with all the advantages Protoss has Zest still needs to play defense on a TeaJa who basically forced his own hand for a quick victory? Of course Zest should of prepared DT's, Cannons, and took better engagements because even though Terran flubbed a two base all in they could just... relocated their mining operations, drop mules to artificially make erase any economically hiccups, and rely on T1 units the entire game. I get Terran needs to have their own unique race thing but what the fuck? There should be no mechanic that allows you to compensate dead end strategies, lack of macro, and being out played; let alone to such an extent.

Zest lost everything of value in that first engagement. The only thing he had going for him was his economy. Why do you think Marines, Marauders, Medivacs, liberators and Mines should lose vs only stalkers and adepts? The only player in this game relying on T1 was Zest. Zest easily could have won this game if he didn't go for the massive attack while leaving his base almost completely unguarded. But really what this loss comes down to is 8 gateways being powered by 2 pylons. That is 100% Zest's fault. Even with all the mistakes he made, he still could have won if he had the ability to build units. Zest is my favorite player so I'm not giving Taeja bias. Zest dug his own grave this game. Terrible control in the initial engagement. Bad decision making in regards to his defense. Relying on 2 pylons to power his entire production. RIP

Them Terrans in Korean pro league are so good, they are pawning other races. So David kim keeps nerfing the terrans and buffing toss/zergs. Meanwhile in the NA/EU servers and the ordinary ladder games you and i play, we terrans are fucked. The game is balanced kappa.

What nerf? the only buff zerg got recently was queen range (which they needed). Protoss has been dominating Proleague with Zest, Hero and Stats all in the top 4 (4 protoss in the top 6 and 5 protoss in the top 10). So try again with your false logic. Get gud and quit crying. I play Terran and the only match-up I struggle with is TvT.

Burg i think the queen range buff and spore root actually "fixed" that zerg problem. but as a terran i like my play to do early harass, you know medivac drop with a widowmine+marines, that kind of harass and its completely shutdown by some queens. follow up with liberators, same, dead harass. cloak banshee, dead too. i wonder how come pro terran koreans are not affected by it thoujgh. well they are korean gm thats why. also i think this patch didnt affect protoss vs zerg though as they dont really do or care much about mineral line harass and all that shenanigan. they are more on, let me make my ball and attack after.
