I've waited so long for this collab. Nat, your the one who got me into Karate Kyokushin through snapchat and I've learned so much knowledge about Karate through you. Then I met Trevor when you guys collabed on a shorts vid. Trevor you got me into Taekwando. The first video I saw was you doing the Mikey 540 breakdown kick and I've never seen a kick that cool before. I started to learn Taekwando as a side martial art through you and now I'm focusing on both Karate and Taekwando just because of you guys. It has boosted my confidence and not being scared anymore. Thank you guys so much and I hope I learn more from you guys❤❤😊

As someone who knows how to do 540 hook kick. At 7:53 you’re jumping leg is not coming up enough, but the biggest offender is that you’re shoulder is opening up when you throw the kick (keep the shoulder back and that should give you more control). But you have the hardest part down in my opinion which is kicking before you land.

Don't feel bad about it. 540 is nuts but you were getting close, just gotta practice. Also fun fact, my old instructor had us start our Tornado kicks using an inside crescent kick as a jab/means to start the turn for the other two kicks. I found it easier doing it the other way bc that starting crescent always caused me to twist my legs together and fall lol. Just the two? No problem. Starting with that 3rd one? I couldn't get it down to save my life.

I trained itf taekwondo until green belt back then and nowdays i do kyokushin karate (currently blue belt), sometimes i think i'd like to go back to taekwondo to help compliment my kicks and footwork, but after so long i would have to learn all over again, stuff like the forms and all of that, so i don't know if i would be using the same green belt or i'd go back to white belt lol. Anyway, for the moment i will stick to only karate for a while, and then i'll see about complimenting my karate with other styles

Every time you upload a video Im thinking bro I needed this Rlly rlly good video ideas Maybe make some of those ideas a continuous thing on ur channel like sparring ur coach Id love to watch that again Inviting people that do different martial arts Maybe have some rough form of plan what the video series would always entail For example First have a talk Second show some footage of what they do or career and discuss that Pick a topic for that person And then do the general idea for the video I mean u dont have to but that would make it feel like a video series and you could beautifully convert these amazing video ideas into a series so these ideas come back:) U could make several series at once and upload the series u want to do or is more practical to do and no time pressure at all bc u can pick a new video idea or plan ahead ur series and mix it up however you prefer And idk whatever u take off this comment I hope it might give u another great idea U probably even thought of this and are already kind of doing it Like ur short series that targets keyboard warriors Or ur short series where u invite untrained people to teach them a little :)hope u see this

spinning back kick because more of the energy from the turn is retained in the motion. the way I've seen and used the spinning side kick is more so to keep the opponent guessing and control the distance than giving the side kick more power

@@danfox1458 Never even heard of GTF I tought it was only WTF and ITF, I do ITF but what is the difference between GTF and ITF then?
@danfox14587 ай бұрын
@@tristanblondeel1437 GTF is more fluid and circular with an emphasis on the end of one movement becoming the beginning of the next movement to create a rhythmic flow, where ITF is more rigid and focuses on each individual movement as an entity in itself so more on the honing side of power, GTF does the same as well but more focused on honing flow with no loss of power, but imo ITF is more snapper on the power
