Well, sorry to bore you, but I also do Taekwondo and thats how it's scored, or else how are they going to get the scores? Hmm?
@jamesskehan10998 жыл бұрын
They would just score it like they did originally, duh? If you kick the other person hard enough it makes a sound and you get a point. The new system just uses magnets so all you have to do is tap your foot to the other player in the right spot to get a point which means more accuracy technique by the fighters and less kicking technique, making taekwondo more of a sport and less of a fighting system (I love sparring, but you need to know how to kick hard as well or else you cant defend yourself when it really counts) By the way, I'm a taekwondo instructor so I do know what I'm talking about

Tae Kwon Do is the most boring competition.

No I think it's wrestling and judo, they're pretty bad....
@dadaweiwei62538 жыл бұрын
Wrestling and the judo have a tradition. However, the taekwondo does not have a tradition. Taekwondo is useless in the practice. It is the weakest in the world.lol
@drsnowmon8 жыл бұрын
dadaweiwei Actually if you knew anything about martial art, they're all useful if combined but USELESS if used alone by itself. Wrestling and Judo have long tradition I agree, but you can't deny that it's extremely boring to watch than taekwondo competitions

If taekwondow competitions would be conducted by the TK5 system that would be the most exciting show on olympics.

what ur looking at is just the cover, olympic style taekwondo is just competition. there is an art form to it, ehich is poomsae too. but u want to talk about effectiveness? taekwondo teaches self defense techniques, (somwtimes using a knife and gun against one another) falling, and so much much more as well as weaponry. they also teach grappling but not as much becuz it's not as effective when fighting multiple people or a person much bigger. but what is most common, is striking techniques. in ancient korea, during war before they had cars and owned horses, they used flying side kick to kick people off horses. it's obvious that u have never been kicked by a taekwondoist becuz they can deliever up to 1500 pounds. and becuz of the new point system in the olympics, it's is much harder to earn a point. another thing is that actually teach recoil, unlike many other forms of martial arts, which makes it much more effective, like when u use a whip, throwing won't hurt bringing it back is what gives it the snap. and about history, judo has only been around since 1882 while taekwondo has been around for over 2000 years, with many different styles. overall, ur just looking at the cover, and u don't seem to understand how difficult sparring is. taekwondo is an effective martial art, it's an art and teaches offense and defense
