The first half of 2021 had been pure chaos for Shawols. The lives started from Dec 2020, right on the day of Minho's discharge from the military and during the next couple of months Shawols had grown to expect random lives from at least one member or sometimes all 4 of them depending on their schedule for the day. Key and Taemin's homes are along the same route, Onew and Minho's in another direction so they'd travel in pairs at times. They were so happy to be reunited and got Shawols caught up in the excitement too. When I caught the live where the boys played with the filters I actually asked myself - what on earth am I watching lol. Hopefully the both of you will get to experience first hand their live shenanigans when Taemin returns and the boys gear up for their 15th anniversary 😂

In 2020, Taemin became this happy little bean that we've never seen before because SHINee was gradually returning from their military service, and he would no longer be alone. He became even more "odorable" during this time (to get the reference, you MUST react to "SHINee's First VLIVE is a Mess": kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5K8fKFulqiSpqc ) What you don't realize, is that none of the members except Key are fluent in English. However, with Taemin joining SuperM, Taemin finally got the bug to really learn English. To help himself, he decided to designate his fans (Jjakoongs) as his tutors. So, with every VLIVE he did, he would interact with fans to practice his English and get tips. It was all so very "odorable". This was a side of Taemin we had never seen before. He finally climbed out of his shy, introverted shell, opened up and began actively sharing his life with us. It has been amazing and so "odorable" to behold. Even Key was amazed at this change in him. Now, he is addicted to talking with us at all hours -- that was until he enlisted, of course. Once SHINee returned, Key became Taemin's chief English mentor, and Taemin made full use of him. Therefore, this entire compilation is Taemin gleefully practicing his newly-found English skills and being so happy about it as well. He could finally communicate with more of his international fans. When Key mentioned their brother's birthday, he meant it was Jonghyun's birthday and they celebrated together. Taemin changed a lot. He became this ball of light trying to make his members laugh. I believe that Jonghyun's passing had to do a lot with it. Of course, it affected all of SHINee, but Taemin was the most obvious one (Along with Onew, but since he went almost straight to the military, we didn't notice that he became more shy). In my opinion Taemin wanted to show more of his affection and love for everyone around him, without caring about anything else. And of course, he was extremely happy to be with his members when they came back from the military.

Taemin indeed stole Key's house key lol (or password) , in all the joke he was saying some true! . While key was doing his service Taemin went to his house celebrated Key birthday , with out him lol.... left a cake on the frige and stole some clothes from the closet. All documented on instagram. He also said he wanted Key house... , and Key did buy him a airdresser ( he said he still paying samsung for it LOL)

I love this copilations! There a lot more to it!. In case you don't know, when they said "their brother birthday" they mean jonghyun birthday. They celebrate it every year together ( including SM and every single SHINee social media).

Is just funny to me how Key said that Taemin told him he does not need him anymore . He probably just a little sad of Taemin independence , Taemin will forever be their baby. Should watch their episode of "I live alone" and see how even Now Key take care of him and worried about him going to the military service ( long story -short... lets just said in the end Key was right to worry).

Taemin choose the same type of service Key did. So the worries Key had is probably a combination of his own experience + Taemin mental health. In the end he was indeed right. I'm just happy he is doing well now and we will have him back in a couple of months just in time for their 15 anniversary!!

Jonghyun always said Key had a thick skin. So whatever happened during the service we will never know, korean men are known for lying about their service experience.. and some just don't want to talk about it. He probably believed it was going to be very hard for Taemin, because of his own experience. Happy Taemin is back in his house with this family , members and friends.

@@TheJodoth You are right. They are very famous Idols, and there a lot of horror stories of Korea service. Remember what happened to G-dragon.?. People stalked him even while he was bathing, and make post on social media about his body , where his tattoos were , his daily routine, and more... it was creepy! So I don't judge Taemin, he endured a lot and he was already dealing with anxiety and depressing for a while. He finally in the privacy of his house!

Funny you would bring up managers. Of course their managers are there. They have quite a few of them. In the video you watched, they were driving. They are right there. The difference between new gen and 2nd gen is not with or without managers. The new gens are scared of their managers and follow orders, 2nd gen or older generations just give their manager anxiety (i.e., Taemin try to spoil the entire new album on vlive).

I don’t quite agree with this this. It’s been documented that some managers have friendly relationships with the artists for 3rd and 4th gen. It depends on the band.

I wouldn't include third gen either, they have been around long enough. But new gens still can't decide whatever they want to do on their own and still would follow whatever the company tells them to be, in general. Can't say there aren't exceptions.

Ahhhhh I love this!! SHINee has such insane duality. I can't wait til they come back and hopefully do more IG lives! Key and Taemin used to go on vlive a lot and most of the time it was a riot! I miss that so much. Their car lives especially were so fun! Sometimes we get carpool karaoke and other times we get spoilers or updates or this lovely chaos you just witnessed. There's a compilation somewhere of what happens when you put SHINee in a car. Minho is really not tech savvy. On his birthday live the year after he got discharged from the military, he finally made his own IG account and had to be told basically step by step what to do 😅😂 Hahaha where's their manager? The managers were driving the cars 😂 Nam Euisoo is one of their more well known managers now because Taemin clowns on him. There's a compilation somewhere of them roasting their manager and it's hilarious! They really have been quite chaotic even in their early days (as you've seen in some of the Hello Baby clips in compilations you've previously reacted to). There is a compilation somewhere of moments that wouldn't survive if they were 4th gen idols. The compilations I mentioned above are fun and I'll probably add it to your request form thing when I get the chance. 😁 though other Shawols probably have been putting those ones in the request form already. When you have the time, I recommend watching the actual full live videos (no need to react unless you want to, some are long) because they are super chaotic and these compilations only touch the surface 😅 I might be biased but with SHINee, you just never know what to expect (musically, live-wise, projects, etc).
