Taemin has a very unique dance style. He has been criticized many times for being too feminine so, in the end, he was like so what if I'm feminine? He combines both masculine and feminine dance styles because he says art is art and it shouldn't be limited by gender.

I think every group can dance, but true dancers have a groove and swag about them that makes it even more effortless. There is one or two people in every group that is like that. Taemin reminds me of Michael Jackson in dancing and sex appeal like Prince.

He actually worked with a very famous female Japanese choreographer to create this. She's actually in the other two versions of this music video. the 1st is like a full on MV with solo shots, shots with the backup dancers, shots with just him and her, and filler shots of scenery and such and the 3rd is a duet dance of just him and the choreographer. 1 is by far the most interesting cinematically(work of art!!!), 2 shows the full choreography the best which i guess is why people recommend you this one, but 3 is my favorite. Taemin and this choreographer work together fairly often and never have i seen two dancers with so much chemistry! It's really freaking beautiful to watch. And she's as good as if not a better dancer as him

TAEMIN is: 1. the youngest member and main dancer of SHINee. 2. referred to as the best dancer in all of k-pop in terms of versatility, vibes, and everything. Also known as Korea's Michael Jackson (Taem's inspiration). 3. one of the biggest role models to all of the newer generation idol groups 4. a member that many other idol groups from the same and previous generations have listed in surveys of wanting to recruit to their own group the most. 5. loved by pretty much all of SM (the entertainment label he belongs to) from staff to other groups there and the CEO gives him so much freedom/praise. 6. the king who just released album of the year (imo) with this MOVE release. 7. now a lyricist/composer/producer as of his most recent 'MOVE-ing' album repackage and has also began to contribute a lot more to his choreographies too. 8. the prime example of a well-rounded idol. 9. a very genuine and true artist. He breaks from the trends to set his own like how he used MOVE to eliminate gender barriers in kpop for instance. All other idols do indeed work hard and have a lot of care/passion in what they do, but from what I have seen, none of them do just about as much as Taemin. 10. the king of kpop.

For title tracks Taemin generally works with famous professional choreographers - He makes suggestions of moves he'd like to incorporate, and the choreographer puts it all together. That's why all Taemin's dances have that 'Taemin style' (and strong MJ influence) about them, even when the choreographers are different.

Taemin's inspiration for dance is MJ and it does show. He usually works with his choreographer in creating his dances. For Move, he decided to make the choreo more feminine and he and his choreographer worked together to make it happen. (One of the versions of the song, the duet mv, is him and his choreographer). Glad you're a fan of SHINee's Taemin. 💖

Omg yess! I've been following taemin since his debut in like 2005 I think but he's in a Kpop boy group called shinee. So you could consider him like a senior in the kpop industry. When shinee first debuted I believe taemin was just leaning the choreography taught to him for music videos. But move is from his first solo album. So all the choreography from the album and I think since the Lucifer comeback for shinee. taemin has come up with almost all of the choreography, for himself and shinee. I'm not 100% sure about this but I've seen interviews were he explained that for this album alone he wrote all the songs and did all the choreography for this album.
