Spot-on observation about the dancers' screen presence here and in Sexy in the Air. What was (predictably) lost in translation: like in every Taemin-orchestrated MV narrative, directorial edits are always decisively and tightly synced with the lyrical message. Unfortunately, due to the super diluted lyrical meaning, western audience can only infer limited visual-verbal linkage, for they could only perceive low doses of the far more intense emotional power that is easily received by Taemin fans in CJK language spaces. Also a nice take there about the eclipse symbol: possibly the longest running SHINee-Taemin theme, at least 10 years old. As usual I enjoyed your sincere take on this outlier artist.

I have a theory Horizon MV is using the atom with election-proton as metaphor. The atom symbolizes the company, with the election-proton representing idols. Taemin, as the electron, feels confined and limited within this system. The metaphor of idols orbiting around the proton highlights the industry's hierarchical structure, where artists often feel trapped in a cycle of expectations and limitations. Taemin as the main character dreams of being in a plasma, a highly energetic state of matter, represents his desire for greater freedom and creative expression. The ionization by a photon of green light symbolizes a transformative event, perhaps a breakthrough or a personal realization, that allows him to break free from the constraints and find his true potential as a free electron. I can be a reach but I think with his nerdy nature and high interest in quantum physics, it's not impossible hahaha

Loved your reaction, as usual! You are my favourite Taemin reactor, by far, for your genuine appreciation and ability to see so astutely beneath the surface. Also, your description of Taemin as a magical f-ing goddess/god was awesome! Taemin’s unapologetic androgyny is a part of what makes Taemin uniquely Taemin.

Taemin's MVs have a lot of underline symbolism which is missed by people most of the time. This MV shows us that he's now completely out of the shell & ready to go take on any challenge without holding back. Loved your reaction.

So. Taemin is my favourite male soloist. His discography is vast and filled with amazing songs for days. Horizion is far and away my favourite song he's ever released. I'm pretty basic. Give me synthwave and I'm happy. But this is not just ANY kind of synthwave. This is that Carpenter Brut-esque super energetic but also kinda dark synthwave, literally my favourite variation of my favourite genre. Combine that with Taemin's heavenly voice and you've got a song that was tailor made specifically for ME. Holy shit I love this song.

This entire album shows Taemin's love (mild obsession..) of quantum physics and science (he's been studying quantum physics on his own in his free time for years now, and loves going on exited rants about it on live streams...). The backup dancers are actually Beyoncé and Madonna's dancers, including Beyoncé's dance captain and her choreographer...

"you, majestic son of a b*tch" is the best reaction to this MV 🤣 My favourite scene in MV is that glass box, you may notice that there are many words on the glass written in white colour that might represent his ideas about himself or opinion of the public and then in the end Taemin through the dance writes his own thing in black letters in a way symbolizing that he is the one who defines himself and writes his own destiny. In last scene behind Taemin and dancers you can see an obelisk, which seemed very interesting to me, since it usually acts as symbol of new highs and achievements or ascend to greater self towards gods, can be interpreted in many ways. And of course Taemin uses his dancers incredibly well, I might be wrong but it looked to me that dancers represent his inner fear or insecurities since they circle him in the beginning in a spiral form btw (like he is in spiral of his emotions?), but by the end he pushes them away after phrase "I'm not afraid anymore", it would explain as well why dancers are crumbling towards the end of MV. Just like you, I probably missed tons of details, but one thing for sure: we love Taemin immensely, and boy, he does not miss ❤

❤🙏🏻Спасибо большое за вашу реакцию. Вы всегда видите больше, чем большинство реакционеров, ваш анализ глубок и вы совершенно правы. От себя замечу, что это более позитивная и энергичная песня, чем другие его песни, она даёт энергию. Тэмин наконец-то вырвался и почувствовал себя свободным. Весь альбом продюссировал он сам и к написанию каждой песни он приложил руку, к написанию музыки. И есть две песни где не только музыку писал Тэмин, но и тексты песен. Это новый старт Тэмина, да открытие новых возможностей. Тэмин неудержим, он яркий и особенный, уникальный артист, самобытный. Поэтому его возвращения ждут и боятся, каждый раз пытаясь удержать его обвиняя в какой-то чепухе, я не верю что это просто так. Я думаю это продуманная акция и то, что взломали и удалили KZbin канал Тэмина это подтверждает.‼️ Все видео исчезли, и теперь мы можем найти их только по ссылке на какой-то неизвестный архив канала, но в поиске KZbin видео нет. Аккаунты BPM также были взломаны. Я вижу в этом руку двух крупных агентств. Слишком много людей, которых беспокоит Тэмин, они знают, что он король, он лучший сольный исполнитель в Корее

When you look at all the elements that shine, at some point you realize that the glow that emanates from TAEMIN is more intense and attracts you more, giving you a sense of happiness and love.

Always love your reactions. Taemin loves to use eclipses (he even has a song entitled, "Eclipse") due to its spiritual meaning. If you remember, he used an eclipse in the MV for "Want" as well, which was a retelling of Genesis 3. An eclipse also appeared after Jesus's death upon the cross, signaling darkness to light; the moment of Satan's defeat and rule over the earth because Jesus's resurrection would usher in the start of reclaiming of the nations (dispossessed in Gen. Ch., 11 in conjunction with Deut. 32) beginning in Acts.
