I knew absolutely nothing about Taeyeon a week ago when my wife and I found the Begin Again series on KZbin and started bingeing it. When we got to Begin Again 3 (Berlin) and I heard Taeyeon for the very first time, I was immediately captivated by her and all I wanted to do was see more of her performances. When I watched her rendition of Adele's "When We Were Young" and it brought tears to my eyes, I knew she was incredibly special because Adele has never done that for me -- and the tears come every single time I watch it. In addition to her truly flawless live performance, I think it's the emotional reaction of the audience that keeps drawing the tears.

I'm so glad Begin Again introduced her to you! Taeyeon is a phenomenal singer. She is big in South Korea and is a member of Girls' Generation, a legendary girl group there. You should check out her songs and albums. I would probably would start with her solo debut album, "I". Some of my favorite songs from her would be "UR", "Gravity," "Here I Am". She just has too many masterpieces to list!
