Their 2015 album was my favorite album by them, until the 2017 album, and then that was my favorite album by them. And then the 2022 album blew everything out of the water. I hope they never stop. Just a little clarification, 8:05 Time Lapse is a Taeyeon track, she just meant that it was written and given to her to sing as a gift by Kim Jong Wan from NELL, not that it was a song originally sung by him

In 9:04 the song Happy has a sad backstory. The song was supposed to released on her birthday but her father passed away suddenly from heart attack on her birthday so they postponed the release date. She also lost her grandmother later that same year.

Excellent! Taeyeon is the leader of one of the BIGGEST Second-Generation Girl Groups in K-Pop, Girls Generation; they debuted in 2007 (the group is also called SNSD which is short for something I cannot spell or sound out). She had her Solo Debut in 2015 with a song called 'I'. That's the song and that is the voice that made me take K-Pop seriously. She dragged me down the rabbit hole and I will eternally be grateful to her for that. If not for her, I would not have discovered Dreamcatcher, Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE or...well anyway, you get the idea.

Her name is Kim Taeyeon, but most of her fans calls her as "King Taeyeon" (probably because the spelling is close to it and she also chose that moniker. ______ Taeyeon and her members are savage dorks known unofficially as Variety Queens and officially as the Nation Girl Group of S.Korea. @@alexatakesalook I'm not that good with song recommendations since I don't know what kind of songs you like. However, here are some iconic ones that you can start with: 1. Into The New World (2007) - Their innocent debut song. This is like the 2nd national anthem of S. Korea during the 2nd and 3rd generation. A lot of female and male idols have to learn this as it's mostly played in variety and survival shows. 2. Gee (2009) - This cute/bubble pop type of song made SNSD popular. It has cringe lyrics and 'simple" dance moves, but it's a Phenomenal during that time. Just last year 2023, even after 14 years, this song was named as the Top 1 Greatest Songs in the History of Korean Pop Music according to Rolling Stone. 3. The Boys (2011) - This girl empowering song is their attempt to enter the U.S. market since during that time SNSD is already popular in ASIA and some times beating popular male group in a male idol dominated era. It has an ENG and KOR versions. 4. I Got A Boy (2013) - This is consider as the Bohemian Rhapsody of Kpop. It also won Video of the Year in the first ever KZbin Music Award. 5. You Think (2015) - The bad a$$ sexy vibe. This song was almost 10 years old, but still one of the favorite of the current YT reactors. ______ There's a lot more of SNSD songs that each with different concept and sound. They have almost tried it all😎. Waiting for a new Taeyeon or SNSD video reaction💖.

oh.Time Lapse is her song which Nell gave it to her after she sang the song of his "Times walking through memories." Taeyeon actually has the time series of her song which are "Time Lapse", "Time walking through memories" , "Timeless" and "Drawing our moments". Definitely worth to check it out!

I never hesitate to watch other's reactions to Taeyeon's Killing Voice when it ends up on my KZbin home page lol. When it first came out, it was the most watched video in Korea at the time. There's not a soul in Korea that doesn't know Kim Taeyeon. Her 17-year career is used as a blueprint for new groups even now.
