Taeyeon might not have the highest range in Kpop, but she's a good story teller and she can bring emotion to her songs that even her b-side are title tract materials. King Taeyeon👑💝

There are a lot of great singers in kpop but Taeyeon is the only one where I really FEEL what she is singing. That is what is so amazing about her other than she sings amazing and picks great music to sing.

Songs you should check out...that is so hard. I do think if you watch her sing songs live, they are so much better than the MV. I recommend "Voice", "Here I Am" and "Feel So Fine" were not mentioned in Killing Voice that you should find the LIVE performance for. Also, since you liked "Time Lapse" that was written by Nell. Their stuff is amazing and Taeyeon really likes that band as well. I highly recommend you give them a chance with "Ocean of Light" or "White Night".

3:40 The feature on I was Verbal Jint, a famous K-rapper. He also featured on a recent Young Posse track, Young Posse Up. Speaking of which... you should probably watch some Young Posse :D Also... if you were surprised by Taeyeon's sound on I... you should hear her Devil's Cry. There is pretty much no genre Taeyeon hasn't tried.

It's funny when he mentioned that even the way Taeyeon breathe is so elegant, then I got a flashback of how Taeyeon "elegantly" falls in the mud several times during one of the Running Man episodes with SNSD hahaha 😂😂😂

Its funny how you look so disgusted at the very end 😂 like how dare Taeyeon exist 😂 I agree with the breathing part and how its very important. That's why I side-eye iu's singing and how media propaganda made her a "singer" when she struggles with her breathing technique. Twice now she covered a Taeyeon ost song with no belts just long phrasing and iu can't even string it together without gasping like fish out of water. I cringe whenever I hear iu sing like I want to give her an oxygen tank or something 😂

I agree with you 100%. IMO I think IU focuses on being an entertainer through song writing, singing, acting and has developed her acting skills more than her singing so remains a mediocre singer which her fans accept. Taeyeon on the other hand has always focused on being the best singer she can possibly be and has improved her technical skills over the years to be a musical artist, perfecting her voice as an instrument. Interestingly, although Taeyeon doesn’t delve into acting seriously, her acting skills are outstanding (I think she is a natural) in her MVs and concert vignettes. Over the years, she has contributed lyrics to her songs when she thinks it is necessary.

Couldn't agree more. I even hate reading comments saying she is better than Taeyeon. Yes, IU is a good entertainer and sings decently but technicality wise, i could listen Taeyeon's songs at ease more anytime of the day.
