the dance practice is Taeyong and Bada Lee plus some other dancers because Taeyong choreographed it and Bada helped him. This was just supposed to be a bside and not even performed and not a lot of people paid a lot of attention to the song when it came out but when taeyong posted the dance practice it went viral and now so many people cover it and its on a ton of playlists and stuff. as always Taeyong taking things beyond

Taeyong and Bada Lee actually choreographed Zoo together! That was them in the dance practice with some other back up dancers. This whole song and performance is just so cool and full of so much energy. Taeyong and Bada did an amazing job and the other members killed it as well. Very proud of Taeyong for this going viral. Jeno absolutely ate, I agree on his outfit here too I'm obsessed. Also Taeyong and Jeno are too of my ults so I had a mini freak out about them performing together because that never happens lol Hendery and Yangyang did so well and I was impressed with Giselle too. This was a great opportunity fro her (she also wrote her verses) and it's just great for her to get to perform with her senior artists and show some of what she can do. I'm hoping so badly that we get more NCT-Aespa collabs because they're my two favorite groups and there's so much potential.

Fun fact - There wasn't supposed to be a performance for ZOO but it was TAEYONG who pushed for it since he liked it a lot and thought it'd be a waste if it remained as a b-side. So he planned and choreographed it with Bada Lee (a choreographer) eventhough he didn't have a lot of time. It went viral after he posted the dance guide on his insta (where he is dancing with Bada and other choreographers are helping them out since it's a 5-people choreo). This man is a visionary! This isn't the first time he choreographed, one of his major other works was for Bring the Noize, which 127 peformed at their recent concert but we got to see it better during the Sticker showcase. His choreography for Whiplash is fire too although it was short (performed at kcon I think). He's such an ace.

Hi RJ! Zoo was one of the b-side tracks in SMCU Express Album. Taeyong decided to make a choreography on it, because he thought it was a bit wasteful that there didn’t seem to be a chance for it to be performed on stage. Even though he was really busy, he said he would try to make a stage performance for it during the free concert. Bada Lee, a female choreographer, helped him with this choreography. After the SM free concert last January 1, this stage performance went viral on twitter and Taeyong released the dance practice together with Bada Lee and other male dancers, and it became a dance challenge in Tiktok. For Giselle, since she is the main rapper in Aespa, maybe that's why they chose her. Because other main rappers (girls) like Hyoyeon from SNSD had to perform the stage performance of GOT's Step Back, and as for Irene maybe she was not available that time.

The video that you mentioned is Taeyong with Bada Lee and their friend. TAEYONG and BADA LEE is the choreographer for this. The song goes viral because Taeyong upload that dance practice in his intagram. Not to mention, Taeyong viral's phrase "BOSS LIKE BISON" mentioned by national park service. Taeyong charisma in this performance is immaculate and amazing. Taeyong is the best ever!

giselle is main rapper in aespa while karina is lead rapper. i think it was a good opportunity of promoting giselle, bc she and ningning are not as popular as karina and winter. ningning got a duet with onew from shinee on this sm live concert too. and yeah, karina and winter were already busy with got + they got more solo opportunities so far. karina got featured on taemin want mv + some stages, got a dance performance with kai for hyundai and got a solo dance performance on mama 2021 while winter got a solo performance on mama 2020, a solo in the sm live concert back in 2020 and was featured on kangta's mv, so even with zoo, giselle and ningning are still far behind.

I think Giselle is in it because she’s mainly a rapper, while Karina might be a rapper (and vocalist) too, she’s mainly a dancer. I also think Karina already being in GOT played some part in it as well lol This is such a fun performance, the choreo was made by Taeyong and Bada Lee (choreographer), and SM had no plans of releasing a stage for it, but Taeyong went and made it all lol ✨ thank you for the reaction as alwaysss 💕

On the animalistic/wild vibes of the song, the way to write KWANGYA in korean means "wilderness". So they're also saying "this is the wilderness ya ya, we so wild wild wild". I thinks it a clever way to bring in the whole SMCU theme to the song. I know a lot of people are v annoyed about SM trying to make KWANGYA happen, lol. They didn't sample monkeys. It's Yangyang making the monkey noises in the back.
