idk why but he gives such krnb indie artist vibes. like if i didn't know nct and this mini was my first time listening to his music i'd defo think so.

Its sooooo fucking goooood. The lyrics take it to another level too, especially for run away, ape and 404 loading, like this man is AN ARTISTTTT. And taeyong's emotional delivery was flawless. Like for someone that is not a skilled vocalist he still gets ALL the dynamics right and conveys emotion better than most

You definitely need to listen to his first mini, it's also so goooood. 404 file not found (1st mini)+ file loading (2nd mini) is a series songs the 3rd song would maybe in his 3rd album.

404 loading is a part of a series of songs that he's created. The first track 404 File Not Found was a track on his first album. 404 loading is the 2nd in the series. And the 3rd one's unreleased but he has teased it in his lives. I'd recommend listening to 404 File Not Found and 404 Loading back to back. It is such an out-of-body kind of experience. His artistry knows no bounds!!

He is crazy genius istg! Dear, if you see his solo concert (TY TRACK), 23 songs (all his own songs) + 3 vcr (also his own songs)... dang! It was so good! His performances, the choreos, the stage arrangements, his expressions.. wooh!

Thank you so much for this reaction! First of all, I need everyone to understand that Taeyong wrote every lyric in this album himself and co-composed each song with just one other producer friend. Secondly, thank you for pointing out Taeyong's artistry. Most people only ever hear the title tracks, which like you said, are chosen for good reason; however, people are seriously MISSING OUT on the true art. I've been calling this album a multi-genre masterpiece, and I'm so glad you get it! It seems like you didn't know this is the kind of artist Taeyong is, so I'd like to recommend that you listen to his b-sides on the Shalala album, all of his SoundCloud songs, and every other thing he's ever put out, officially or not. He writes/composes ALL of his own music. If you like his work with SQUAR, check out "Ghost," another incredible song they wrote together. you get IT. I’m not even a taeyong stan but i was SMACKED in the face by his artistry. It’s fresh, original, and 100% him which is rare in kpop. 10/10 mini (ignoring tap)

This album is so well done. So atmospheric and personal. My favorite is Ups & Downs. This album is storytelling. I had the chance to watch his concert on Beyond Live where he performed these songs and more. All self-written. I’m spellbound. I hope he and his close circle of producer friends continue to create music for us for many, many years.
