The swaggiest cute ever! This actually suits Taeyong perfectly. Taeyong is simultaneously a handful and adorable! He is the dorkiest, sweetest, and most precious soul but his charisma is off the charts, and he can be a bit of a rebel and knows how to take charge (he's leader for a reason). I'm so glad that you are checking out his solo work because it's incredible. You should know that Taeyong writes and composes ALL of his own work. "Shalala" is fantastic--the MV is unique and clever, and you must see the dance practice or Studio Choom. There is a Studio Choom out for "TAP" as well. But more than his title tracks, many fans LOVE his b-sides. They are so diverse because Taeyong experiments with a lot of different styles and genres. I HIGHLY recommend that you check out the whole albums for both Shalala and TAP. He also has SM Stations and his own KZbin channel and SoundCloud full of unreleased songs (good thing about those is that they won't be blocked, even if you listen to all of them in one video). please check out the whole album! i'm sure you'd love him even more since he wrote all the songs based on his experiences. the crowd favorite seems to be either 'moon tour' or '404 loading' but taeyong's favorite is 'moon tour'. also, taeyong is an absolute sweetheart once you get to know him more! the fans lovingly call him 'bubu' or 'tyong' due to his ability to activate people's cute aggression (towards him) lmao. but since he’s also the leader of the group, he also has his serious leader moments that’s why he’s loved by the members.

Having seen him live with SuperM I can vouch for the fact that he is wild as hell on stage - his stage with Ten (Baby don't Stop) mind blowing ...... Taeyong's first and second albums are slightly connected and he says himself he considers the second one an upgraded version of his first so would recommend. But honestly if you guys want to continue doing videos Taeyong has a sizable backlog of solo MVs so should keep you guys entertained for a bit.

PLEASE check out some of Taeyongs other solo works! Shalala Ghost Lonely Long Flight Love Theory He also at this point has a TON of bsides that have either been officially released (on either mini album), unofficially released (on his SoundCloud), or unreleased but performed in concert (TY Track concert). Some fan favorites of the official releases are Ruby, Moon Tour, 404 File Not Found, and 404 Loading…all of which give a much different vibe than the title track type songs.

You’re right. From what I’ve observed, Taeyong is one of the sweetest, most considerate people around. The first time I laid eyes on him in person (at a promotional appearance) he had an aura about him: Gentle, kind. But he’s also the leader of NCT, so he knows how to make his voice heard. I really like “Tap,” even more than “Shalala.” There is something in the video that made me smile: Taeyong happens to be a prime example of a pet peeve of mine, the CONSTANT hair color changes. I almost pity new stans trying to recognize the members because with the exception of Doyoung, the hair on these guys keeps changing. It looks to me as if this mv is poking a bit of fun at that. 😄

Wonstein Sha La La La by Taeyong Taeyong is known for his soft and playful demeanor. He calls himself a nerd. He loves animals. Is a caring leader of 20+ chaotic other guys. He paints and draws. Loves figurines and Lego sets and likes gaming and does it with fans. He's a real artistic out of the box thinker. It's hard not to love him. Fun fact his nickname, well, one of them is Bubu (baby) because of his large boba eyes and at times his childlike demeanor. Ten and Taeyong do a song called Baby don’t cry, they’re so good together. Taeyong is the leader, so I imagine he’s got to be somewhat of a tough guy but more of a gentle soul who cares about all his members. I’d love to see him try a different kind of song, he has a beautiful deep voice, reggae comes to mind for some reason.
