I think most idols are pigeon-holed to a certain extent at the beginning of their careers cause they are trying to gain a footing in a very competitive industry. For example, Chanyeol from EXO once said he hoped that people didn't see him as just a good looking idol who raps but as a person who loves music and wants to push himself (and when you think of the number of instruments that he plays, wow....) And I think, just like sunbaes before him, TY will continue to grow and develop as an artist as time goes on. Artists with long lasting careers are not content to remain in one place or show one thing over and over. But you also can't do everything at once, it's good to develop things step by step and at your own pace and in your own way. I totally trust TY will continue to do this and show us many things...
