Taeyong being a mentor

Taeyong is the best leader, mentor and teacher NCT could ever have, and I hope this video can help erase any doubt that some people still have about this. Taeyong excels in rapping, dancing, songwriting and many other things which makes him perfectly fit in a leader role, as he can assuredly guide other members and give them helpful advice. And it is so clear that the members appreciate his guidance and seek his opinions and advice in order to improve themselves.
Seeing Taeyong mentor especially new NCT members like Sungchan or Shotaro, really makes me think about how he would be as a mentor on a survival show. I believe he would be very fit for such a role sometime later in his career, guiding newly debuted idols and trainees and helping them develop their skills.

Anyone with half brain should is able to see just how much members respect and admire Taeyong. The way they always listen intently whenever he talks or advices them is really touching. They also very obviously proud of his many talents. Taeyong even got into the list of 9 idols who are looked up to by other idols in 2020. He was on the 7 place, being the youngest and the latest to debut, among such legends like Exo, Shinee, TVXQ, Bigbang and Bts. Him, just 4 years into carier and with no solo promotions. It shows just how talented and impactful he is as an artists. It's okay to not love him or his style, it depends on your preferences after all, but please don't try to hate on him or downplay his abilities. Try to always keep in mind that your biases most likely really respect and acknowledge him, and try to follow their steps on that. P.S. Thank you Limitless TY for another awesome video!

taeyong's patience when teaching or helping his members makes me so so proud of him. Taeyong did not receive kindness from his mentors when he was a trainee, instead he got verbal abuse and being singled out despite doing well just bc they expect 110 from him. he'd get scolded publically and in front of his seniors while other members would be scolded in rooms on their own. it got so bad that he became quiet and would hardly talk as a trainee. The fact that Taeyong chose to break the chain of abuse and to be a kind teacher insread makes so proud of the man he came to be.

And this is why i really don't understand the amount of hate he's getting.. i mean you never saw any video disrespecting nor he looked down any members, not even heard any bad jokes.. he's always been so encouraging, so supportive with the members.. and you will really notice the respect that members are giving him, and they really pay attention to what he's saying that says a lot to his character... What's ridiculous is that Taeyong himself didn't know anything about rapping, dancing, singing or songwriting until he was SEVENTEEN. That's a very late start in the music business, so for him to be looked up to by so many of his members and other idols is a testament to how hard he's worked to get to the level he's at right now.

I think they should make more videos of Taeyong's talent and strenghs showing him being a mentor and teacher and expressing his talents with NCT. That's what sm entertainment should do. I don't think he should be on some bullshit show because we all know alot of those survival like shows have made up drama for suspense or something and the last thing we need is the script to do something stupid to make Taeyong look bad. Example he tries to correct someone's dancing but the producer's edit it in such a way that with little or taken out of context it looks like hes being mean to the poor trainee etc.

Everytime i watch Taeyong's video, this thought came to my mind "Ahh i stan the right person". Taeyong is definition of perfect, same of Haechan said "All member is important, but taeyong always have a special role because he is the leader, he is the ace and face of groups. That's role i can't imagine it if it's isn't taeyong. I always count when nct being together, it will so weird if there is a member who not joined it, and it will be so weirdest if taeyong isn't in there. I want to say thanks to Whoever who found taeyong and ask him to join SM, also whoever who make him be the leader of NCT, they really made a best decision to do that. I never get tired of watching artists like TY at work... His stage persona is stunning however the TY we see at work on dance or recording is just pure ease, enjoyment and concentration- I feel like he is really in his element and he is a gifted teacher. He doesn't panic or get impatient. And people just live for praise from a leader like that, someone who works so hard and is so uplifting. (And I could listen to TY and Mark talk shop for AGES)

The way he takes care of his members and mentors them is one of the beautiful aspects of his leadership that I never get bored watching. It's like his leadership philosophy is "if each individual member shines, the whole group shines and we can reach even greater heights." Truly a philosophy I wish more leaders would subscribe to. What I also like is that he not only is a phenomenal leader but a team player as well (which you can see well in both NCT and SuperM). Great video!

Taeyong is so sweet. I can’t imagine his stress as the face and leader of NCT-but he does so well. The moments with Sungchan are so sweet because he’s making sure Sungchan can feel more comfortable in the studio and rapping-and it’s probably less scary that Sungchan gets to hear corrections from Taeyong as opposed to the directors. I'm in love with this man and I'm not even part of the NCTzen family, and I gotta say I didn't understand why is he the leader, since he is very humble. Now little by little I'm recognizing what a great leader he is, especially of 23 people!
