Not to get too deep but my mum passed away in January and its her birthday tomorrow and I was feeling really down, but seeing this in my sub box made me smile. Karl is one of my favourite comedians. He's hilarious and Idiot Abroad is amazing. Been many years since I last watched it. Cheers!!

Glad to see you've gone back to An Idiot Abroad. I genuinely thought you'd forgotten all about it. Yeah, literally every single reaction channel does reactions to this (and The Ricky Gervais Show), but it's such an amazing and hilarious show that it's completely justified. And they can get them on KZbin obviously. I'd love to see you do more reactions to this......and The Ricky Gervais Show too.

Honestly Karl trying to sing and dance with Glee is one of the best bits of TV I’ve seen for ages and it’s always brilliantly awkwardly hilarious. Shame you didn’t watch the version where Karl sings Jump by Van Halen, and he just speaks his line in a proper Liam Gallagher Manc whine and it’s great

I know a lot of people don't like Ricky Gervais these days but I did honestly enjoy Afterlife. I also really enjoyed The Outlaws (Stephen Merchant's latest show - btw great show for you to react to) and I enjoyed Karl Pilkington's solo work. But, I grew up listening to the podcasts with Ricky, Steve and Karl and watching Idiot Abroad at Uni and I can honestly say that they're never funnier than when they are all collaborating together. An Idiot Abroad is one of my most watched shows, and those original XFM podcasts with the three of them, they have got me through some really bad times and always to this day make me laugh so much. They're my go to when I need cheering up even in my lowest moments.

That hugging shit is the most awkward thing ever, I don't think I would have been so nice, I get quite prickly if people get to close to me. Which isn't allways helpful when you do want people to get close. Oh well.
