Wow, al final del video se ve un Airbus A320-200 de Avianca (El Salvador Surf City). Yo tuve la dicha de volar en el, en el vuelo inaugural de Ciudad de Guatemala a Flores, Petén (Tikal) Guatemala 01/12/2022

Que dicha, queria hacer un video en ese vuelo pero no pude. Pude grabarlo un par de meses despues, te invito a que lo veas por si no lo has visto. (Ida lo hice con Avianca y el regreso lo hice con TAG para compararlas) Saludos!

That was a fantastic short ride. The seats despite being old, look more comfy than those on Avianca. And you even got some juice included. I must try this airlne. Cheers!

Al momento, TAG esta renovando su flota para dejar los ATR72. Fue un placer volar con ellos y si, volveria a volar con ellos. Saludos!

Actually the ERJ-145 is probably the perfectly sized aircraft for Central America right now for regional flights where a carrier can offer more frequencies using older, cheaper equipment. Since ERJ’s have basically no value on the used market, and there are literally hundreds available for sale, a carrier can obtain this aircraft with little to no cost and run it cheaply enough

You're right. It is a versatile aircraft for the central american market. I'm wondering how business will go if airlines like La Costeña, Nature Air or even Sansa lease some of them.

@@WSAirplanes They could buy them used out right - an ERJ145 literally has only a $200k value on the used market. The issue with the ERJ is that the CASM is rather high - so more seats need to be filled compared to the ATR/Dash8. Even if they purchase them cheap and used, and even with Central American pay scales, carriers would still have to fight to keep CASM low enough to be able to turn a profit on the short routes where RASM is limited by demand - impossible no, but difficult yes.
