I've got some literary analysis cooking: The moral of the video is simple; friends are better than success. Spiff set his sights on success, and decided to increase the other players tag time with a complete disregard for other's feelings. Due to Rarran's sk- I mean luck, this ended up creating a powerful enemy, one which came after Spiff with a vengeance. Backed into a corner, Spiff tried to bribe Rarran, but because he couldn't help but flex and had made an enemy out of Rarran, it failed.
