Ok, I looked up the Ramsey, all 4 back corners were damaged. They have pictures on grading report.

Thanks for the extra leg work in clarifying! We don’t pull much heat on the channel so we generally buy cards we want. Surprising to hear it’s always the back corners.

I haven’t looked at the grading report for your 8s, but the wonderful thing about TAG is that the grading reports will tell you why those cards didn’t gem out.

Yeah I looked at the briefly and they were very thorough but didn’t check them for all Cards and didn’t check them prior to revealing the grade on video.

@@TomWasHereOnKZbin But hey, those are beautiful cards! You and your son have great tastes! Better luck next time avoiding the dreaded 8s. If you notice a pattern with the back corners please look over your process for storing or ripping packs, or whatever. I moved to using CardShellz because they have notched penny sleeves so corners don’t get hung up as often and they are less likely to chip the edges when sleeving up cards. I just wanna see more gems brother. Anyway, hobby on!

The Jalen Milroe had 3 bad back corners. Im starting to see a pattern here. You might be damaging the corners with the packaging or how the cards are stored. It’s always the back corners too.

Thanks for that, we got that one on eBay and the Ramsey at a local card store so ofd they are all the back! Thanks for checking into those!
