Nice watch had the original caz101n and the weakness was the blue leather nubuck strap. Glad to see they fixed it on the new model, however this is a bit tinny and up there with a £1300 Seiko sharp edge gmt I have. It’s £2100 in the uk. I paid a lot less. Other than my g shock and moon swatch it’s the only quartz I have on my diverse collection I like it.

Is there such a thing as a Swiss meca quartz movement? I’d much prefer this if the chrono hand swept at 4 ticks per second.

Think I prefer the Red Bull version as it has the red and green Tag logo. My absolute favourite Gulf branded watch is by B.R.M (French manufacture), their V8 model is super cool

I would typically defend pricing for many of these higher level brands, but sometimes I can’t. At least $1.5K too much. It’s a nice looker but there is nothing special about any aspect of the watch in terms of design, construction and components. If it were a solar Seiko at $750 I wouldn’t have an issue 🤷‍♂️

It's worth a mention, that is not true Gulf colors. Handsome watch but the blue not being correct is a no go for me.
