This short is so good, it wears its influences on its sleves and flourishes beyond them. Character designs are consciously simple and memorable, and it makes the animation all the more impressive. Its so dynamic and expressive, there we're shots that i never saw coming even when knowing it was 3d, it was blended so seemlessly it was so impressive. And the vibes from the dialouge, voice acting, the atmosphere, music was immaculate. Can perfectly see this being an early 2000s cartoon in another life, amazing work!!

I LOVE everything about this short!!! It truly seems like a love letter to graffiti and everything that it is able to provide for a person, from self-confidence to family. The style bursts out of every frame from the first to the last. This is the first time I was recommended something by you and I’ve watched it four times already. The color palette is cohesive and every character still has the ability to stand out against the background. I also like that the cops were desaturated to show how boring and rule abiding they are. The characters are so adorable and expressive, and I love that each new has their own style and I mean clothing and handstyle of graffiti. You really get the sense that each character has their own story and world beyond the short and while this is a great standalone piece, I could also see it as a perfect pilot for a full series. Kiki is my favorite! She’s who I imagine myself to be in a friend group, and my favorite color is pink. Regardless, I want to hang out with all of them and explore their world some more. And the sticker-like stylization at the end is so so cute. The movement is so dynamic and scene transitions are engaging. And the “boom” from the explosion scene made me giggle. There are just so many excellent style choices and details that to list them all would just be me describing every single thing in the short lol. Congratulations on a job well done to all that worked on this short! I’ll definitely be watching everything I can find of yours!!

I've seen at least 50 shorts where people have said they're good enough to be series, but I've never felt so strongly that this would work well as one. I love how everything looks like graffiti save for the box-shaped police cars, I love the character poses, the soundtrack, the way everything stands out against everything else while remaining chill and consistent (I can't describe art well lol), basically everything about it. Yes I do love Jet Set Radio how did you know!!

The astetic of everything, from the characters, music, and the city, is some top-notch stuff!
