Okay having the character that is unsuspecting and seems to be prone to space out, be the heavy hitter of the two is genius. Edit: I know what a subversion is. the fact it's done with that character is smart and unique because everyone usually leaves that character type as written off as a liability or it comes in handy with puzzle type problems to subvert the dumb or airheaded original assumption.

@@Prismate it’s a different type of subversion than normal, usually you have a heavyset character be surprisingly competent in combat situations. I was just commenting on the unique take of subversion. Like you could go and tell me, “no duh it’s a banana,” but what I’m talking about is the fact that the banana is grown underground. Usually the airhead characters are subverted into being really good with puzzles locks or stuff like that, not rocket launch uppercuts.

A lot of times I feel like animations in particular don't get enough credit for how much passion and effort is behind them. This is amazing. The backgrounds were beautiful, the animation was fluid and expressive, the storyline was intriguing and the shots creative. Along with fitting compositing, you added high quality sound effects, voice acting; even had someone else make music specifically for this. The simple and yet recognizeable designs of your characters are very endearing as well; the props were great too. I loved watching your hard work and perserverance come together, huge respect! I'm very happy to have found something like this; I love this. It's just got such an authentic indie-animation vibe. Especially in some of the sound effects and the action shots, I can see the inspiration from other media practically ooze out of my screen! Thank you very much for the time you have put into this - it truly shows and I am looking forward to seeing what you'll create next. I wish you the best of luck in bringing forth the very real potential CAPSULES holds in the future, so reach for the stars and make it a reality! As an aspiring artist/animator, I admittedly envy your skill but things like this simultaneously show what great amounts of effort you put into perfecting your craft, which I find awesome! :)

I LOVE this! Every detail you need to know is conveyed simply and effectively through visuals or the single speaking character's simple, casual dialog. What are they looking for? The little capsule fellas, shown off just by the mental connection you make upon seeing them and the title. What are their personalities? Instantly able to tell via their body language, designs, and whether or not they speak or emote much. Why is the big robot so threatening, even ignoring its size? The conveniently pill-shaped USBs that immediately give you the impression of a dangerous and unstable drug/steroid user. And all that not even mentioning the art or animation itself!

God damn, I wish this was a full show. The animation, the visual designs, the sound designs, *EVERYTHING* about it is great. One of the things I can't help but gush over is the inclusion of sounds from other media, mainly games. From what I was able to determine, there's sound cues from Pokemon and Cave Story sprinkled into this (heck there's probably way more that I haven't identified), but the way it's used works *SUPER* well. If I ever try to dapple in animation, this is going to be one short that I take inspiration from.
