In the game, yes. But it should be unlocked at 30+. Simething like that gives access to a pretty advanced feature, so the level it is unlocked at should reflect that.

As long is some thing you need to unlock. Personally I like things like this to be hidden and you notice it when you level pals. But it's personal preferences and therefore would be okay as an otion

I hope we get these mods soon(or just implemented in the game) A mod for keying in the amount of items for stacks or crafting. More Sorting options for Palbox. Option to hide map markers of a certain type. Option to change viewing cage to hide pals(If you store a lot of big pals in a cage they leak out of the cage)

The main thing holding me back from using mods in this game is my skyrim modding knowledge. Since they're going to be actively updating this game for awhile will the updates break modded saves? For some games removing mods midplaythrough can break a save game.

Always having the same worry, but there a few things to differ: mainly what they change. For example pure aestetics, skins, model changes etc never break the game or even save as they only change already fixed staples and nothing gameplay wise. These slightly more complex mods in this vid seem verry similar. They dont directly change any core mechanics, but basically just add to the gui/overlay (stuff that is displayed on the screen). However, there is still a concern holding me back: removability. Since the game is not finished, there is always chance for spaghett. Another mod example is one that adds markers on the map for all lifmunk statues and removes them as theyre collected; hovever if the mods get removed, for some reason all these markers will permanently stay on the map. Especially as the game still gets updates and mods may or may not, its always a risk to take. Worst case when ivs (or photomode) get implemented, the mods just overwrite it. So for now the safe way is cosmetics only, but in most case reinstalling the game (and removing mods) solves the issues.

They'll probably add an iv checker to the game at some point. Pokemon GO was a big success, they too had iv's and no in-game checker. It was a feature added some time after release.

YES please! Especially cuz breeding for ivs is ~70% random mutations and only ~30% consistent, which makes all stats perfect 100 ivs basically impossible rn.

In collectors genres or mechanics, it increases rarity. Which increases their value for individuals and tradability in a market environment. In a game mechanics context, it adds another level of progression and challenge. All of these intended to increase the value and fun for certain players. Of course, some people don’t like the challenge, so it’s not for everyone.

Also, it prevents the game from being deterministic. If every Pal had the exact same stats, you would very easily be able to know based on it's level whether or not it could defeat each particular enemy. Hidden IVs randomize stats to add variety. You might go up against an enemy that you normally defeat fairly easily, but if it has great IVs, the fight could be considerably harder than you expected. This variety adds to the replay value also, otherwise you'd catch the best Pals one or two times & stop playing. Hidden IVs push players to keep trying to get to pure perfection.

I took the files out and reopened the game and the game started so then I did what you did in the video just take the content and put it in that win64 folder. And now it keeps saying crash report palworld_win64_shipping over and over and over again idk why it won’t just let me do it. Idk what it different I’m trying to start the game right after putting the UE4SS zip file in the other folder and then it crashes and says the shipping thing over and over I’m trying to get it to start so it will make the logic mods folder so I can use the packs anyone have any ideas what thanks!

I'll never understand why IVs aren't displayed by default in pokemon/palworld... Tried using the IV checker mod with the instructions in video but crashed within minutes. Never crashed Palworld before. In fact, now it won't launch at all and my entire PC is crawling. Mods suck. This absolutely needs to be a provided feature.

you wont get band for using any mods on steam but the games themselves can ban you if you instal mods that thay dont want you to have (i got band on btd6 for instaling a mod that maxes everything) but on steam i can say for shure that you wont get band and those mods probably wont get you band on palworld just dont instal cheats if you play on multyplayer.

Pretty sure if you right click the file there's an option that says "Open with.." and that brings up the same menu you selected opera with by mistake.
