Super informative. I was breeding a 1 mutation out hoping to get new colors...now I know to stop doing that and going back to 0 mutations. You're a time saver! BTW, not sure if you remember that my Unicorn was lost in the snow biome, but I found it yesterday! He was running away from hyenas a little further away. I was doing this on dodos, and my first mutation was a blue beak on a female... i bred her with a male with no mutations, when she laid her egg, another female laid hers at the same time, when they hatched, both eggs had triplets, and all of them had blue beak mutations! Fuckin insane

That's actually really cool! I had two dire wolves (female was cream with a grey back and grey feet; Male was dark grey with black back and grey feet) I ended up getting a female baby dire wolf with a cream body, somewhat dark grey back and, get this, RED feet!! I also bred her to get even MORE babies with red feet! Also those dire wolves were wild tames and I didn't breed anything before it, I got pretty lucky there, and thanks for the informational video!❤️

It can climb from the front of its body and the back. So to do that trick he did on that wall is just lead your Dino backwards to it and it should start climbing it backwards.

I think jerboas are harder to breed thou cause they come in lots of diferent colors, so right now im just getting a LOT of jerboas in a house and letting them breed. I think thats the best chance in finding mutation jerboas. But with larger dinos I think ill try use your method. The tutorial was great!

I'd really like to see the cyan or red belly on the purple...i mean lavender body 😉 Once again, great vid! I'm working on argy and archa mutations currently, and just fyi archa's mutate about as much as your terror birds lol so frustrating. Also a tip, I breed a pair until I get twins that are 1 male and 1 female with same stats and level, then use those as my main breeders. Helps to spot stat mutations easier since they will be higher level than the parents😁

One time I was breeding Allos and one of the eggs hatched and it was TRIPLETS! I was so surprised, didn't know that could happen! Twins too, but man. I almost couldn't keep up. Now I have some fruity looking Allos because of their vibrant mutations.

I live on The Island in Ark, just across the rainforest and the snow biome, beside a small pond that will constantly spawn fish. It is a great base area. Just stay away from the beach! There will be an almost constant spawn of dangerous creatures. (Mainly sabertooths). Anyway, the "perfect location" is just at the far left away from the beach, past a massive boulder that will always be there. I suggest this spot for higher levels, even tho absolutely NO DINOS will spawn on the spot you will settling down in. Just across from the spot is a tiny little patch of land with rocks, crystals, trees, and bushes. Don't worry. No dinos will spawn there. Your "spot" will be across from a snowy beach, a giant ice arch with big blocks of oil for u to harvest. And when u keep going forward, just above u will be a small form of land with dead trees and bushes. When u find a way up there, there will be a bunch of metal to harvest. *your welcome :)*

Great explanation! I am finally understanding mutations. But if you are breeding 2 all brown thyla(or any dino, just using thyla as example) will you NEVER get any different color offspring? Or will they 100% always be the same all brown color like both of their parents are?
