Thanks for reviewing our stick. Not everyone is going to love it. I was a low kick user myself but my own brand I prefer a mid kick. As you know we aren’t sending out hundreds of sticks to influencers. We offer giveaways to our customers every few months. We do offer small discounts to players with large followers or large orders. It’s tough to put us in the same category as some of the companies you named when that’s just not us. We have players that used our sticks but are no longer allowed due to league sponsorships. We tested our sticks with radar guns and ex pros. We understand some people will just feel more comfortable having a brand name in their hands and that’s ok. We aren’t going to steal the customer who is comfortable spending $400+ on the next greatest stick from the big brands. We are catering to the player who wants something a little different that’s tailored to them and performs very well. 4/5 ain’t bad but we sure took a beating getting those 4 stars!😅

I’ve tested quite a few low kick sticks not of the big brands and they do struggle. However I will say this was 70 flex, pretty whippy, perhaps higher flex improves. As well, I will eventually get your mid kick version as I want to ensure I test both because I have a feeling it’s quite good. I do my best to review sticks in a unique and objective way and don’t want to put anyone in a bad spot by doing so, but I also have to keep my honesty and difference from other KZbinrs. Thanks again

Have used some noname sticks in germany like venatic, all black, marvic and tron. Some of them perform okay but in the end i said to myself never buy one of these again. It is like you said - better watch out for discount on top sticks, even if they are some years old. My last big bang was a brand new qr6 pro for 160€ and a new asv pro for 126€. If you are a little connected and watch out in shops you can definately save tons of money and play high end sticks

I used to play with him when he was in Van and took a few private skill sessions with him. From my memory, Barber always had a new twig and they were always odd brands and if he did have a Bauer/ccm, it was rarely the top of the line. He doesn't really shoot the puck very hard and doesn't play at a competitive level (basically just dangles beer league guys for fun when he has Minor pro level skill) so I don't think it made a huge difference for him. That may have changed, but I think he cares more about testing the feel with his stick handling and not shooting like yourself.

I just watched their mid and low kick videos and the contradictions, and descriptions of things were just hilarious. Everything is the best until the next thing, and it’s just really odd. The fact that he takes so long to rank sticks in those videos also tells me he doesn’t actually spend much time with them or have an idea of what each has for shooting, feel etc. The fact that he says things like Bauer go soft, or the puck feel is “insane” on sticks with stiff blades and then grip that disappears when he cuts sticks down and kick points change etc I just can’t. They should have stuck to hockey related videos that aren’t gear reviews
@Nastyflow6115 күн бұрын
In a previous video they talked highly of the Sherwood rekker legend pro, in the low kick video they put it last because they cut it down and it lost its flex?…..are we lacking common sense? Most sticks have marking of what the flex will be when you cut it down to certain lengths. That will happen on any stick

Couldnt disagree more. Taggs is a good , small town company that puts passsion into their product and cares about performance without having to miss a mortgage payment. Plus, you're companring it with two other sticks that arent even the same flex, kickpoint, or curve....doesnt make sense. Not comparring apples to apples. Your throwing shade on baber and hockey turorial is sad. Focus on youself, which obviously isnt hard since you constantly brag about your booming shot and abilities for playing in a rec mens league . Good job. Loved the channel at the beginning, now turned off..
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews10 күн бұрын
Is the purpose to build a budget stick or is it to build a performance stick? I can make a budget stick. Easily. There’s literally 75 companies that do it. I’m comparing it many sticks like the twitch I was holding in the video but the original footage was on ice session alone. If you want to watch hockey Tutor and barber sell you garbage information go ahead that’s your choice. I stay objective. Always. Also did you even watch? The shinny is a low kick black out 75 flex same as tags and was beat by that. So the ft7 was their as a performance measure I put it against the shinny. I don’t get 8 free low kick sticks to put it against to bullshit. I guess that’s forgetten a lot
@ryankamphuis204910 күн бұрын
I actually don't watch barber or hockey tutorial anymore either, pretty much for the reasons you've mentioned. You're not wrong. But let the consumer decide on their own, focus on yourself and your brand. There's no benefit in bad mouthing others. I know the shiny was a low kick, but it wasn't the same curve. A pro stock kane curve is a lot different from a retail p28, at least in my experience. Sorry if you're offended, it just didn't seem like a fair review.
