Because birth control stops you from having babies. She doesn’t want to have a baby, but she’s buying something with ‘baby’ in the name at the same time. It’s a joke about having “baby crazies” or more accurately mid stage life depression common in women who don’t settle or have kids because of social pressure. So basically she’s depressed and wandering around the store with babies on the brain. It’s pretty perfect for Eleanor. Hahaha
