Epik High are 3 People. The very first guy you saw in the MV is DJ Tukutz, he's the DJ/Engineer of the Group. The first guy who rapped is Tablo, Leader of group. He's known in the industry for his genius wordplay and overall amazing lyrics. He's Canadian-Korean and graduated from Stanford University with a masters degree in creative writing and english literature. The last member is Mithra Jin, the bearded guy. He's the youngest and was actually a poet before joining the group. Epik High aren't really K-Pop. They started out in the underground scene and as whole are widely recognized and loved in the entire korean music industry. They helped make hip-hop more mainstream in Korea and are rolemodels to many younger rappers.

I’m so glad you’ve discovered Epik High! They are a veteran hip hop group that recently celebrated their 20th anniversary. They are mentors and good friends of RM and Suga of BTS. Love their music!

Definitely not Kpop, but K-Hiphop! Which is a veryyy large rabbit hole in its own right. Zico and CL were part of kpop groups at one point (Block B and 2NE1, respectively) which were hiphop/r&b oriented groups anyway, but now they both have prolific solo careers :)

I’ve seen them twice! They’re so good. Their concerts are so high energy and they’re so funny. I got to meet them in VIP and they’re super nice. Tablo even remembered me from the crowd. I recommend Born Hater or Catch! Thanks for reacting!!

I'm surprised but I love this song. Epik High is a Hip Hop trio not Kpop tho lol. I was like oh no "do streaming platforms list their songs as kpop too?" I say this because all the big platforms like Spotify especially seem to list any song a BTS member is in as kpop even a Juice Wrld song from his album because Suga featured in it when it's a rap album & only a couple lines in Korean but still not kpop lol Even fully English songs, the guys don't give a crap at this point & have fully embraced it but it still irks some fans like myself cuz it's another way to other them. Anyways, they inspired both RM and Suga and it's extremely cool they are good friends now. Tablo featured on a song on RM's album called "All Day" which is on RM's newest solo album "Indigo". And Suga produced a song for Epik High called "Eternal Sunshine". Tablo was a guest star on Suga's web show "Suchwita" were they just drink together and talk kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJbNnWmBg72VndE

Epik High are legends! You should listen to their song End of the World ft GSoul and All Day by RM ft Tablo And CL is a queeeen, she was the leader of 2NE1 (a 2nd generation kpop group) and has great solo music. Tablo the first rapper (white shirt) graduated from Stanford university. Korea thought it was fake and went through this whole drama and persecutation and he had to go and get alibis and evidence. EPIK HIGH has been in the industry for sooooooooooo long.

Epik High got me into Korean music lol. One of their rappers Tablo graduated from Stanford with honors in English literature and creative writing. He's a great lyricist. Recommend one of his solo songs Eyes Nose Lips. It's an all English song, and it's his own rap rendition of a famous kpop song Eyes Nose Lips by Taeyang from the group Big Bang (Epik High and Big Bang used to be label-mates at YG Ent). Tablo also features in RM's Indigo album on a song called All Day. Suga also produced an Epik High song called Eternal Sunshine, he really captured the Epik High type of sound very well.

I've seen so many reactions to this MV, and I've always been dumbly disappointed with how few reactors commented on the doberman. I adopted mine and he has a lot of trauma and issues so just in case, he wears a muzzle. The muzzle in the video is too small for every day use (muzzles should allow a dog to puke and do a full/wide, heavy pant for safety reasons), but I don't know, I still like the representation of a muzzled doberman just chilling on the bed. A muzzle doesn't inherently mean a dog is aggressive or going to attack. Still, there are references to the dog and muzzle in the lyrics and theme of the song. Speaking of which, the lyrics are so good, and CL kills the chorus.

Epik High's first album "Map of the Human Soul" (notice BTS album Map of the Soul homage) came out in 2003. It is SO good. I think they are on their 10th album at current. Tablo is super popular and is involved with a ton of stuff. I know you guys haven't reacted to Stray Kids most recent music video "lalalala" but just to give you a heads up. At the very end of the video, Tablo has a cameo (he writes his name on a cross word puzzle that says Stray Kids). Since Stray Kids always gives clues to their upcoming music at the end of the videos, I am really hoping it means a colab with Tablo. Their colab with Tiger JK on their song Top Line is awesome. You still have so many of their videos left to watch like Miroh, Easy, Double Knot, and their debut Hellavator. Feel free to also go down the EXO, Seventeen, and Ateez rabbit holes.

I love all of them seven thing beautiful I listen to them sing I feel much better and you know it take the old money they keep it to the poor well I have a Jimmi birthday Friday and I am the army Volunteer donate blood to the Red Cross! Awesome last five year him and his dad been given the food that we will need it. You know that we can do it like that for five year and donate blood to the left by U2 when I when they sing it you feel so good you know my having die 11 years ago, I listen to a lot of music but I don’t need them. Zico is one of the best rappers out of South Korea. I'd highly recommend his stuff. Also, Epik High has so many amazing albums! I love this song but it isn't even in my top picks for Epik High. The lyrics are always top notch with Epik High.

I found the k hip hop scene largely pretentious, treating hip hop more like a dogma of how to perform with a strict you and them mentality, rather than as a spirit of fierce authenticity and self expression. But EPIK HIGH is the real deal. Korean hip hop at its finest. Rhythm And Poetry.
