I'm still having "service suspension system light" come on. I added resisters to all 4 tires, what did you do to the pump to prevent that light???

If it's a Denali you gonna have to upgrade those coils to. The air ride coils are too weak to not be supported by the air shocks. Or you could just put some of those rubber spring spacers in there to stiffen them up a little lol

Hey if I want to lift the rear end on a Z55… Will the same coil lift spacers that fit non-Z55 coils, also fit the Z55?

I plan on doing a regular shock conversion to delete air ride. Do I have to buy solenoids for all that stuff? Or can I just put shocks in and nit worry about suspension codes on the dash? Would it harm anything at all if I just did the conversion without everything?

Hey man...I appreciate you making this video...i just took out the air ride shocks in my 07 GMC Yukon Denali...do you know what size resistors exactly you used and where you got them? Also...my air compressor was already not working, so should I disconnect it? Thanks bud..

@@johnschleifer7803 @Timothy P I don't know if you still have the service ride control message, but if you want the error gone you can pull the RTD fuse under the hood with the battery disconnected and the message will clear. Leave the fuse pulled. Hope this helps

This is the easiest job ever. Pull 30 amp fuse, disconnect batt cables and touch together. Install shocks of choice. Connect battery! Full send. You don't need that other stuff....

Will the light stay off with this method?
@sxs4l2457 ай бұрын
@ChrisTheMobileMechanic I did it on my 04 Caddy EXT. Just bought the $300 dollar kit for a Tahoe. Every now and then I get the chime for service stability when im hammering on it, but no light. Pulled the 30 Amp fuse. Lifes good! Edited: I did buy the kit, but it comes with springs which you really do need. Ever notice how sloppy it rides. Like bouncy and sluggish. It's actually unsafe to drive it without the coul spring kit. You have a stiffer suspension up front and some sloppy crap out back. Kinda the tail wagging the dog effect. $300 dollars well spent IMO. Good luck out there.

Does the Z55 Autoride suspension have coil springs too? Or does it ride entirely on the air shocks? So, when converting… you need to install coils and shocks?

yes amazon sells a bilstein kit for $343 am ordering today for mine
@castleclubclipz Жыл бұрын
@@kennymartinez973 That kit is overpriced... You can just get the Bilstein shocks ($89 each) and Moog (Z71) coil springs ($69) and save $100

@@castleclubclipz yea i ended the bilstein front and rear shocks and moog rear coils
