Pro tips. If you only touch the plastic of the new bulb you don't need a glove. Extra pro tip, put the new glove on as you remove the bulb from the packaging and immediately put it into the housing. Grease and dust from the vehicle can also cause it to burn out early

So I went to replace my light bulbs with LED bulbs. Unscrewed drivers side inner bolt. No problem. Outer bolt, just spins and will not come out. It just spins, mocking me. On passenger side the opposite bolt comes right out. But, the inner bolt just spins. Any ideas on how I can get those other 2 bolts out? Thank you!

Little trick on that headlight bolt. You can use a drill on it and comes off way faster.

@drewsquickfix Жыл бұрын
its not really a screw its a bolt you need a rachet for if the bolt is missing contact a dealership or a junkyard for a replacement. the headlight is probably loose. -please subscribe! thanks for watching

Nice fix! I recently replaced my headlights, too. Now, I gotta replace my 2 front lower control arms, since I wore out the bushings with all the deep pot holes I went in to. I might just pay a mech to do this.

Hey AR, I usually dont pay to have car suspensions repaired it can be expensive and eventually you just need more work eventually because of rust, alignment etc. I forget what year is your car? It is expensive to buy new cars now so fixing old ones can be the best option. sounds like you have a money pit car though lol. Im about to do a video on how much stuff Ive avoided fixing on my PT. Cruiser because its just going to quit one day. But I do make sure the wheels stay on ha ha

@@drewsquickfix I have an old 2004 Honda Civic and still runs great. But yeah, the parts for the suspension isn't very expensive like some cars. It's made to be a budget car that runs great with the smallest engine I ever had. I think I have 235k miles on it. Lol. The torque isn't that great either, but the speed is satisfactory. For a compact car, overall, is great. It should be running good maybe by next year since my new mech took a long vacation in the Philippines.

@@AR-sd well I guess if you love the car and the engines okay and the transmission and timing belts are also okay those are major factors that are very expensive to repair and usually lead to people just scrapping a car. I have heard Hondas have a very long life though
@AR-sd2 жыл бұрын
@@drewsquickfix yes you heard right. Older civics and accords last quite a long time with a budget in mind. The new models are not so good, but still a great ride. With civics, the problem I have is that it's not as powerful. The old V6 Accords are great. They are all real easy (in your case) to do mechanical work on it. But, as all cars that are old, it also waste more gas and it's expensive as hell here. Lol
@AR-sd2 жыл бұрын
I forgot to tell you, man... The parts on my Honda civic are so small compared to other cars, that it's easy to try and fix. I've seen girls work on it, easy. I could do the suspension work, but it would take me 2+ days and I don't have the time to kill right now. And like you said, the money would just keep adding on when all the labor and parts fail.

sooooooo I didn't have to do any of that... I was able to just switch out the bulb from the back... no drilling, no wrench, no taking anything apart just unplug and plug the new one in.

Wow that's great! I dunno if your Tahoe has some parts removed . Mine has a second battery holder in the way and no room on either side. This is the manufacturer recommended way to do this also removing a headlight
