Hi there, I just found your channel and I subscribed. I’m excited to follow your journey on your trails. I love seeing women out there doing what we love to do. I would love to hike a through hike. However, I don’t know if I could ever do it so I admire people who do and I love watching other peoples adventures.

The PCT sign markers are called blazes. Signs or paint; they’re all blazes.

great series, what kind of tent and sleeping bag did you go with this time of year?

At this point, I don't really have much gear that is season specific so I just use the same gear each hike. At some point that may change. Currently, I am using a Durston xMid 1person and a Mountain Hardwear Phantom 15F bag. It was warm enough in the Colorado Mountains and most night not too warm in Tahoe. I just adjusted my sleeping layers.

Very nice videos! Suggestion: Don’t double tap the blaze because it can wear off the emblem and because it’s sooooo CLICHE!

HAHAHA, ok, Karen..... oh, and by the way, that is not a blaze. that is a trail marker sign. a blaze is a vertical marking on a tree that is either been cut into the tree or painted onto it.
