@@hiking_heather I did as promised. I double tapped the CT marker at Stony Pass. I don't recommend starting at Stony Pass unless you enjoy a 3k+ foot 10 mile walk out of Silverton. The trail was amazing!!

@@hiking_heather Could you suggest an alternate trip as a backup? I don't hike as fast but I usually start at first light and hike till it's about time to break out a flashlight. I took 2 weeks off work (16 days) and planned on driving 2 days out and 2 days back from the Midwest. So I can usually do up to 10 full days of hiking with 2 days for contingency.

@@SuniSydeOfShadeis there a particular state or mountains that you wanted to go to? With 10 days I think you would have quite a few options (pending fires) and could just do parts of some longer trails.

Really enjoyed this thank you for sharing your adventure. I was lucky enough to complete the PCT in 23’ which I know is a goal of yours. I’m new to your channel and was watching for research for my next summers hikes. I live close to the TRT in San Diego so I’m thinking about doing the TRT in mid July (for trading) then go over and do the CT through the month of August so I’ll watch your videos as well on that. On a personal level I truly like your personality and calm demeanor. I think your single right? Lol I wished you lived closer because we’re about the same age but it’s so hard to find women that are our age that truly love this type 2 fun. If you car to check me out, in my playlist is my series of videos I created for every day on my PCT journey. If you watch them stick with them because their a little long at the beginning and not filmed the best but I promise they get wayyy better. I was learning how to film and edit as I went. I know your in Indiana but I would still love to get to know you a bit. Anyways that’s enough rambling… thanks again for this series, it was very helpful.
