Tai Lung: Rise and Fall of a Warrior

All the characters in the KFP wanted to see only blind rage in Tai Lung, but Tai Lung himself admitted in the battle with Shifu that his main goal was not the dragon scroll, but Shifu's pride. Shifu wanted and believed that Tai Lung was a dragon warrior, which is why Tai Lung could not help but want to become one since this is the desire of his master, his father. Tai Lung did not want to let Shifu down, but at the moment of refusal, Shifu let him down. If that day Shifu had not stayed with Oogway, but went to Tai Lung, hugged him and said that he did not care about this scroll and title, perhaps the villain for KFP1 would not have existed at all. Tai Lung attacked Shifu without hesitation for the first time and I understand why, because when your closest person turns away from you at the most crucial moment of your life, you will not be able to continue to love him the same way, it will be insanely painful. Another big mistake is that Tai Lung spent 20 years in prison where he was only mocked by the guards, no one else came to him, they tried to forget him as a terrible nightmare, but he remembered everyone and everything, this act of Shifu kindled more and more resentment in Tai Lung, because of which he clearly would not have been able to come to his senses so quickly. Even when Tai Lung came to the Jade Palace, he was not embarrassed by the fact that the Furious Five went to evacuate the residents, and only Shifu was standing in front of the palace. He asked where the dragon warrior was, but when he learned that he was not there, he did not think about Oogway, whose death he did not know. All this time, Tai Lung was purposefully going to Shifu and the dragon warrior, victory over whom would be proof that none of the new students are able to surpass him, as was the case with the Furious Five. In general, this conflict was exclusively between Shifu and Tai Lung, but due to the fact that Tai Lung is younger and inexperienced, Shifu had to regulate the situation himself, since the day of refusal, as well as 20 years of prison, everything only worsened.

The tragic thing about Tai Lung is that he never realized who the true villain was.... Oogway. Shifu got him dreaming of being Dragon Warrior, but Oogway misled Shifu about the dragon scroll too. The movie ended without Tai acknowledging that, oh crap.. it was the turtle that misled everyone, and Shifu was victim of that as well.

He did at the end of Kung fu panda 4 when he accepted that Po was meant to be the Dragon warrior

Tai Lung is a reflection of how people are nowadays. He forgot his past, he forgot all the good Shifu did for him, he has been good to Shifu as long as he was only benefitting from Shifu and others. But as one of his desires was not met, he forgot everything and made everyone an enemy. Reflect on this.

It's Shifu's fault, he should've trained Tai Lung better with how he should use his power and abilities and how he should properly use the many styles of kung fu he's taught him over the years and encouraged him to understand the true meaning of his own abilities as a warrior and where real strength comes from. But instead he was blinded by his own pride of how he was guiding him without realizing what it could do to him and he did nothing to fix it instead he let his own ignorance cloud his vision enough to see Tai Lung as a trader after he snapped and went on a rampage because of what he was denied so long ago. So blame Shifu not Oogway, because of he was in his place he would've done a better job with how to properly train him and guide him as well and his path would've been different and better for Tai Lung then the path of power and revenge.
