An instructional video covering tai-otoshi for judo competition with graphics. You will also see Tai-otoshi executed from 10 different grips, 360 angles, as well as some bonus tips, exercises, and combos.
We try to do our videos in the spirit of KODOKAN. We also follow IJF and WJF efforts to develop, popularise and preserve judo.

I just have on comment on the form... of the video! Great judo content otherwise. But your beeps to signal variations toward the end, the high pitch and relatively high volume make for a painful combo in some cases... Please turn them down a little in your next videos, or go for a lower pitch. It breaks the zen brought by the repeated "thomp" of the uke :D

@@justjudo7601 No problem! Yeah, the new version is better, not aggressive anymore. It can work. I'd say it's still not perfect, if you want to be picky about it :D It's just not the mood of the overall video. Maybe something like this? kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5DSc3yCoriYY7c A hyoshigi would be a natural fit, I think. But again, the new version is good enough :D

@@justjudo7601 Sounds great, it still clearly emphasize the variations changes, without seeming out of place! That's a done deal to my ears :) And uh... the explanations are getting better and better, the color coding of force vectors + words, that's something I've never seen before, I find it very clear and helpful. It's unique, I hope it will be met with the success it deserves!
